Capital 56 Birthday

The answer came from Fred and George.
"Hey y/n,
We are happy that you are writing. We asked our mother about it and she wouldn't answer. She became very sad and sent us up to our room. You could come over yourself and ask her about it. She said it was none of our business.

I smiled at the letter and put it under my bed.
Today is my birthday. I finally turned 14 years old.
I went down the stairs into the living room. Exactly a year ago we were at the mountain on our mission.
I sat down on the sofa. When a house elf came.
"happy birthday Y/n"
"Thank you. Do you know where my father is?"
"He left very early this morning, I don't know exactly where"
"Okay"
Penney was curled up on the sofa next to me.
When suddenly an owl flew into the room.
It was the Malfoy owl.
She placed a letter and a small cardboard box in front of me and flew away again.
I opened the letter.
"Hey y/n,Best wishes for your birthday. Unfortunately we can't be there. Draco will stop by your place later, but I've sent you my gift right away.
L.G Narcissa"
It was afternoon and I was in the boxing room.
When Draco opens the door.
I smiled at him. He rushed towards me and hugged me.
"Happy birthday my little one"
He smiled at me.
" Thanks"
"Where is everyone?"
"I'm alone."
"I brought you something, are you coming down?"
I went down the stairs.
Below he placed his hands over my eyes.
He led me into the living room.
Then he took his hands away from my eyes again.
" Surprise"
I smiled.
Everyone was there: Mattheo, Pansy and Theodor.
" happy birthday"
"Why are you the only one whose birthday is during the holidays?"
"I don't know Pansy"
She hugged me.
" where is your father?" Mattheo asked
" not there"
"You know Y/n we are currently planning a party on the first day of Hogwarts. Do you have any wishes for the planning"
"Shall we have the party in the Room of Requirement?"
"Yeah, sure"
"We have something else for you," Draco said
He pointed to the table that had a cake and birthday presents on it.
We quickly sat down and Draco cut the cake.
I then opened the presents.
There were lots of little things inside. I got a snake ring from Draco and a dress from Mattheo.
Penney laid on the table.
Pansy had a dead mouse for Penney.
I held it up to Penney's face.
"penney food"
She looked up and saw the mouse.
I placed the mouse in front of Penney and turned to Mattheo.
"Thanks for the dress"
"Always" He smiled.
It quickly became late and everyone said goodbye except Draco, who stayed.
Then there were two of us again.
"Come on, I want to show you something"
I took Draco by the arm and headed up the stairs.
I arrived in my room.
"Muffliato"
"And anything new yet?"
"No, but I found a diary"
I took it out from under my bed.
" look"
It said Regelus Black big on it.
I opened the page and on the first page there was a map with lots of little things drawn on it.
"I thought about the fact that he didn't hide it at home but somewhere in the world and he marked it with the map where he hid it."
"Yes, that's fine, and when should we go look for it?"
"I don't know, maybe over Christmas or something?"
"Or when your father isn't there again like today"
Penney looked at us.
"Penney you could take a look. When we're in class, look for these marked places"
Draco looked at me. I knew I had just spoken Parseltongue.
For Draco, Penney was just making noises, but for me it was words
"What are you looking for exactly?"
"I told you what we were looking for and we suspect that he wrote it in a diary and that's what we're trying to find"
"Ah and what if he put curses on it?"
"I would just say that you just look at these places and if they seem strange to you, tell us and then we'll take a closer look together. Okay?"

I looked at Draco.

We sat on the sofa in my room.
