Capital 136 Katie Bell

I woke up late.
It was almost lunch time.
Luckily there was no school today.
Mattheo and Draco had already disappeared.
Theodore was still sleeping in his bed.
"Theodore wake up!"
He opened his eyes.
"Hmmm?"
"Do you know where Mattheo and Draco have gone?"
"probably by the disapiering kabinet"
"Should we go out to the lake?" I asked
" Yes why not"
We both stood up and quickly got ready.
We arrived at the lake and sat under our tree.
The lake was frozen and snow covered the ice.
Theodor took out a cigarette.
"one too?"
"Yes why not "
Theodore looked at me.
"Since when?"
"Times are changing "
He handed me one from his pocket and I pulled out a lighter.
"Do you remember Umbridge how we were never allowed to be together"
I lit my cigarette and passed the fire to Theodor.
“Yes, that time was shit” I said
"Who did she think she was?"
I pulled on my cigarette and white smoke came out.
Cigarette tasted exactly as I imagined.
Well, to be precise, shit.
I still continued smoking.
"What do you think Mattheo will say if he finds out you smoked?" Asked Theodor
"Nothing, he won't find out"
Theodore smiled.
"I think you have a few secrets from us that you don't tell anyone."
"You too. You always try to look into other people's heads but you never get the answer you're looking for." I said
Theodore leaned his head against the tree.
"Did your father actually write you back?"
"No, but I have to write him weekly reports on how things are going"
"Does he know about the deal?"
"I hope not but I have a feeling he wants to see my thoughts over the Christmas holidays"
I smiled at the floor.
It was more of a sad smile.
"Doesn't He Trust You"
" he does. He trusts me but knows that I've lied to him many times and that always comes at a price. That's why he'll want to know what's going on at Hogwarts and send someone from him to Dumbeldor who'll be up all the time to watch me"
"You think he's going to send Death Eaters here to Dumbeldor?"
"Yes, when Snape will be headmaster and at least two Death Eaters will teach some subjects. That's the deal."
I took another breath and exhaled.
Then I crushed the rest of the cigarette on a stone.
"We should see if Mattheo and Draco showed up for lunch." I said
Me and Theodore walked into the Great Hall together.
We sat down at the Slytherin table and looked at the door.
After a short while Katie Bell came in.
"Look Katie's back"
She was just talking to Harry.
Suddenly the doors opened and Draco came in. Mattheo wasn't there.
Draco looked at Katie and Katie looked at Draco.
Harry followed her gaze and Draco visibly swallowed.
Then he left the room.
"Should we go after him?"
"No" said Theodore.
Suddenly Harry went after Draco.
Theodore and I looked at the door.
"Maybe we should now" said Theodor.
We both stood up and slowly followed Draco and Harry.
Harry disappeared into a bathroom.
Theodor made a hand signal that should have meant stop.
We stayed behind the door. Until suddenly noises came from the bathroom.
Glass shattered and water sprinkled.
It all happened so quickly.
Theodore opened the door and I saw Harry swearing at Draco.
It was Sectumsempra.
Draco fell backwards.
Harry ran forward without noticing us and looked at a person on the ground.
I only now realized what he had done.
I walked behind Harry and looked at Draco.
He was bleeding everywhere.
His entire white T-shirt was covered in blood.
I immediately ran over to Draco.
"draco.what have you done?" I shouted at Harry.
I pressed my hands on Draco's wounds.
"Draco"
Draco took my hand.
"Theo get Snape!" I screamed
Theodore started to run.
Harry just stood stupidly behind me.
"Draco, Draco stay awake"
He just made heavy breathing noises.
"Draco" Tears welled up in my eyes.
I tried to press the wounds that were getting bigger and bigger.
"Dray"
Suddenly Snape came.
He pushed Harry out of the way and got on his knees next to Draco.
I immediately made room for Snape.
He began to heal Draco with spells.
Theodor pulled me up from the ground.
He held me tightly with his arms.
I looked at my hands. They were covered in blood and then I saw Draco in front of me.
I was afraid. Fear of losing Draco, Mattheo or Theodor.
Harry was gone.
I just looked at Draco.
Snape healed all the wounds and then took Draco to the hospital wing.
Theodore and I followed him immediately.
Mattheo came to us halfway.
Theodor still had me in his arms.
"What the hell happened here?"
"Potter attacked Draco" Theodore said.
Draco was placed on a bed in the hospital wing.
I sat down on a chair next to him.
Madam Pomfrey came.
" Can you tell me when he'll wake up?" I asked.
"Probably in 4 hours"
I looked at Theodor and Mattheo.
They just nodded.
That means we stayed until he woke up.
We sat down on chairs next to him.
"Why did Potter use that spell? It could have killed him" Theodore said.
I placed my hand on Draco's forehead.
We sat in silense.
In between we talked about some school topic and waited until he woke up.
After a short while Madam Pomfrey came back.
She put something next to Draco's bed and then disappeared again.
It was getting dark.
I kept looking at the clock.
I leaned against Mattheo.
"Let me know when he wakes up"
Both boys nodded.
I knew they would fall asleep eventually too.
I closed my eyes and Listen to Mattheos and Theodors Voices talking about how they would punish Potter.
Then I Fell asleep.
