Capital 66 Rita Skeeter

Today are holidays again and many students stayed there.
We were just sitting in the carriages.
"Y/n"
"Pansy, what's up?"
She got on the carriage.
"Hey Draci"
She looked at Theodore.
"Have you heard about Potter?"
" What?"
"He was caught outside tonight. Snape immediately gave him detention."
We drove down to the train track.
The five of us got on the train.
" and Draci Where are you going for Christmas break?"
"I'll probably stay at home"
"You could come over to my place sometimes"
Draco looked at Theodore.
He looked out the train window.
I sat down next to Theodore.
"hey everything's fine"
"Yes, she's just a bitch. She knows exactly what her parents are up to and now wants to bribe them with Draco."
"Yes, but believe me, Draco wouldn't go with Pansy. He invited her to the ball, but he actually wanted to invite someone else."
" you?"
"No but she's also a Slytherin"
Theodor opened the window and took out a cigarette.
"Eye give me one too," said Mattheo.
With that, both of them were now smoking in the compartment.
Draco rolled his eyes.
"Really in here"
"Yes, Drací"mocked Mattheo
I put my foot up on Mattheo's side.
He smiled at me.
Pansy stood up and walked out of the compartment.
"What's her problem right now?"
“Many,” said Theodore.
"Are you turning the compartment into a hotbox or what?"
"Yes, if we can manage it"
"Who smokes here?" it was the voice of a perfect person. He came and opened the door.
"Slytherin" it was the perfect of Gryffindor.
"Next year we'll be the Perfects" said Draco "then we can do whatever we want"
"10 points deduction for Slytherin and put out the cigarettes understood"
" what's going on here?" The Perfect of Slytherin came.
"The Slytherins here were smoking in the compartment"

The Perfect of Gryffindor left.
"What an asshole. 20 points for Slytherin"
With that he disappeared too
The train stopped.
"Are we in London yet?"
"No," said Theodore
" What happened?"
There came through the speakers.
" Dear students of Hogwarts. The train to London has broken down. You all have to get off now and walk to the next meadow. There will be portkeys ready for you. They will take you to London on the railway track. "
We took our luggage and got up.
"How can this train break down and can't they just fix it easily with some spell?"
" apparently not"
We get off the train. We were standing on a bridge.
My leg was so good again that I could walk on my own.
We walked along the bridge with the other students. Everyone dragged their luggage awkwardly. When we arrived at the bridge, many portkeys were already gone.
We took a trophy.
"Let's go then" we held each on the portkey and the portkey threw us around.
We landed on the ground from the train track. Only students were there.
"Should we go already?"
"Yes," Draco said to me.
He took my hand and we apparated.
We stood in the living room. It was quiet except for a couple of Death Eaters running around the house. Narcissa stood in front of us.
"Are you there so early?"
"Yes, the train broke down"
She pulled Draco into a hug and then me.
"Narcissa, what's going on here?"
"There's a meeting coming soon"
" I'll be right back"
I went to my father and knocked on his office door.
"Come in"
I opened the door.
“Ah Y/n back again?”.
"Father, do you know where Rita Skeeter is?"
"The reporter? What do you need her for?"
"You gave us this mission with Dumbeldor's file and we made the plan that we would go with her to the Ministry and then we would split up. I wrote her a letter from Hogwarts and she didn't answer me."
"Ah, that's strange. She should be at home. We can visit her this afternoon after the meeting. What's wrong with your leg?"
I looked down at my leg. It was still plastered."
"Didn't Bourty Crouch Jr tell you that"
" no"
"Yes then. We were out at night and then Dumbeldor, Snape, Moody and McGonagall came. We ran away and ended up in the Forbidden Forest. There we were attacked by giant spiders."
"That stupid Hagrid"
"What does the gamekeeper have to do with it?"
"Those spieders belonged to him! His first was Aragog, he brought those giant spiders into the Forbidden Forest. I found out when I was a kid. He will suffer later."
I was just about to leave the office
" Y/n why are you there so early?"
"The train broke down and we were brought home with port keys"
My father got up from his office chair and followed me.
"When Potter dies, we'll go on vacation first"
I opened the door and we went into the meeting room together.
He placed a hand on my shoulder.

I sat down in my chair. Mattheo wasn't there.
Bourty Crouch Jr was there.
Belatrix was there and many more. Draco sat next to me.
"It's time in 4 months we'll be out in the cemetery. Harry Potter is there and the beginning of our power"
"Bourty Crouch, how are things at Hogwarts"
"Things are going well Dumbeldor has no idea about it. Harry Potter got through the first task with help. Everyone is constantly turning against him. Everything is going according to plan"
Bourty Crouch looked at me.
"Macnair, how are things going with the Ministry?"
"Good so far. The ministry has increased its security measures again but you can still get in"
"y/n, Draco, how far have you come? What's your plan?"
"We're coming in with Rita Skeeter. The reporter. We'll split up and go into the restricted section. We'll go out again with Rita Skeeter," I said.
My father turned back to Bourty Crouch Jr "what is the second task"
"The second task is about the champions having to be underwater for an hour to look for something underwater." They both looked at me.
I just nodded.
"Go on Belatrix, Fenrin how are things going with the prisoners?"

"Lucius, how are things going with the inmates in Azkaban?"
"They are still ready to fight. We keep sending out signals."

"It's going okay. They'll probably have their headquarters at Sirius Black's house," Belatrix looked at me.
"Did you come in?"
"Yes it is the Black family home but Dumbeldor has some security locked"
" which?" He looked at Bourty Crouch Jr
"Unfortunately we don't know that yet, my lord"
"You should find out as quickly as possible"
He looked at Bourty Chrouch Jr and then at me.
"When will the next time be?"
" These Hollidays"
"Try to find out as much as you can"
" Yes "
He looked back at Bourty Crouch Jr
"You have to try to come again."
"Yes my Lord I will try my best"
Draco looked at me.
"Belatrix, how are things going with the Muggle family, Dumbeldor has shown up again"
"No my Lord the last time he showed up was with Y/n"
"Okay then the meeting is over now"
My father stood up and so did I.
"We're leaving right now"
I stood next to him and we apparated. We left all the Death Eaters alone in our home.
We arrived at an empty house.
I looked around the living room briefly.
"Rita"
My father leaned against the wall.
I slowly walked towards the kitchen with my wand raised.
"Rita Skeeter. Where are you?"
My father followed me at a distance.
I walked up the stairs.
"Lumos"
I sent a light up to the Upper Steps.
Penney and Nagini were suddenly next to me.
"penney go to her bedroom. Nagini look for her in the other rooms and if you find her come back and tell me where she is"
Both snakes disappeared.
Penney was the first to come back.
"It's in the room to the right of the stairs"

"Rita, it's rude if you don't answer when you're called"
I went up the stairs.
Nagini was next to my father again.
Penney was next to me.
I opened the door.
" Weren't you taught to come?"
I went into the room. She sat anxiously next to the door.
I motioned toward Penney.
She showed her sharp teeth. Rita Skeeter jumped.
"Get up" she stood up immediately.
"We have a mission for you"
"I'll do anything as long as they don't hurt me"
"I'll hurt you as much as I want, they'll still do what I want, understood?"
" Yes"
She sounded so stuck up.
"Crucio"
She started screaming.
My father put his hand on my shoulder.
I took the spell from her.
"so now back to normal"
"What can I help you with?"
"There is this letter" I pointed to her desk.
"Why didn't you open it?"
"I didn't get around to it"
"lie. You were scared, right?"
" Yes I'm sorry"
"Me and a couple of friends have to go to the ministry. You're taking us in.
You want to write a report for the newspaper and that's why you're there.

I smiled at her.
"And never ignore letters from me again and you come when someone calls you understood"

My father behind me just smiled.
I turned around and walked out of the room.
We apparated out. The house was so secured that no one except Death Eaters could get in or out. Even she couldn't get out.
We stood on a piece of grass.

He smiled at me.
“How are your tasks actually going?”
"Okay, what's the second thing we have to get from the ministry?"
"This is your own mission. It's a prophecy about me and Potter. I want it and the only ones who can touch it are me, you and Harry."
"Why I it's not just a prophecy about you and Potter"

We apparated back home and stood in the living room.
Many Death Eaters weren't there but Bourty Crouch Jr, Belatrix, Fenrin and Macnair were still there.

I sat down with the three
"She was out with her friends one night and then they were attacked by Hagrid's spider. It can't be cured magically because the spider had too much poison."said Barty
Belatrix looked at me in shock.
"I will kill this Hagrid and torture him no matter what"
I looked at Bourty Crouch Jr.
"How is the second task going?" Asked he
"Well, we just need this dianthus herb"
"Oh good choice. I'll get it for you"
"Who are you going to the Yule Ball with?" Belatrix asked
"That's still there?" Fenrin asked
"Yes, that's still there and I'm going with Mattheo"
" Oh that one new Death Eater?"
"Yes, exactly "
"Have Draco and all left already?"
"Yes, they haven't been so loyal lately, and everyone notices that."
"These are the first to disappear in the war." Fenrin said
"Yes, yes. Why did Sirius use the house for such scum?"
" I don't know it"
"What is the third task?"
"a labyrinth and the first one to get the cup wins. But the cup is a portkey"
" what should I do there?"
"Make sure that no one other than Potter gets the cup, that means I'll clear all paths for you and then you'll get to the cup first."
"Okay"
"And when Potter comes back, for whatever reason, you say he didn't come back. So Potter still looks stupid."
I just nodded.
