"Consider yourself lucky that I still have the strength left not to pluck your wings off and shove them down your tiny throat, bug!"
"Consider yourself lucky that I didn't rub any of it in your face!"
It was already sundown and they had yet to reach their goal. Only one thing kept them from losing any more hope. It was only one boat ride and they'll arrive within a few hours. For days, they've accused Zhen of lying about the place where they were going to, that she was either trying to be funny or deceitful. They did decide to give it a shot, since Daiyu was their only reliable source.
This place was called Juniper City.
The entire trip, Tai Lung had been doing nothing but viciously scratching and clawing at the forming and already spreading rash on his back. The poison ivy that Mantis had rubbed all over him certainly did its effect and it was merciless.
"Juniper City." Zhen told them.
Everyone, except Tai Lung and Daiyu, grasped it and shook their heads.
"Juniper City." Zhen repeated again, same thing happened again.
"Juniper City!" Zhen repeated louder.
"Repeating it doesn't help." Po stopped Zhen.
"Zhen, I have no idea how you don't know this already, but we have never heard of it as far as we can remember, we never had any contact with it and we had never committed any act of injustice against it." Tigress clarified, looking at Zhen scratching the rash that all was over her face
"That's what every outsider told me! And that's what you kept telling me all day long and the days before. I'm telling you, it's real. I'm talking 'bout the most beautiful, successful and diverse city. The outside world once brought war to us and the Chameleon stepped up and ended it when our previous leader didn't and when he died, she stepped up as its rightful leader and dismantled the assembly that had been persecuting us for years when our leader and the assembly kept ignoring her demands for action and equality."
"Stop talking nonsense, kid." Daiyu told Zhen.
"I'm not talkin' nonsense!" Zhen answered.
"Why would there have been a war if most of the others never even knew of its existence until right now?" Daiyu asked Zhen, to which Zhen had no real answer to, except for.
"Not my problem. You guys just need to get out more often. Just sayin'."
"So you knew of its existence?" Po asked Daiyu.
"Would you have believed me if I'd told you about a city that's being dominated by a shapeshifting sorceress? No." Daiyu answered, Po nodded in agreement.
"Okay. Fair enough."
"Well, I can tell you, I can think of a lot more places that are exactly like that. Beautiful and successful." Mantis commented, Po blinked.
"What places?"
"Gongmen City. True, a lot of wild things have happened there, but still... I swear, guys. If this is another one of her lies-..." Mantis cocked his head towards Zhen. "We never should've taken you with us if this is where you were going to bring us to. A deserted sea coast."
"You're gonna take that back once you see it." Zhen assured them. "This is the place where you can be whatever you wanna be, do whatever you wanna do and steal whatever you wanna steal."
Po sternly eyed her, making Zhen gulp and chuckle as she scratched the back of her ear.
"Uh. If that's your thing."
