"This is way beyond my personal boundary." Daiyu's strained voice sounded right from underneath Po.
"Your boundary?" Tai Lung snarked from underneath Daiyu whilst Mantis squirmed his way outside from underneath him as well.
"Yes! My boundary."
As everyone else was scattered all over the deck after practically getting launched upon the impact of the boat crashing into something, Tai Lung roughly turned around and got both Po and Daiyu off of him.
Daiyu helped Tigress on her feet and yanked Zhen out of the ropes she got herself stuck into, which ended with Zhen falling and bumping her head against the flat surface of the deck.
"Hey!" Zhen yelled.
"Don't mention it." Daiyu shrugged her shoulders.
"A little heads-up would be-..."
"Ever." Daiyu putting force on that word alone made Zhen clamp her mouth shut.
"Sweet bean curd. Captain, what was that?" Po immediately asked the captain.
"I think we've hit a sandbank."
"A sandbank?"
"Shallow water."
"I know what a sandbank is!" Tai Lung snarled. "And now what?"
"We must be close to land. Otherwise, there wouldn't be any shallow waters near." Tigress said. Daiyu agreed, coughing as she waved her fan for both cooling and breathable air.
"Yes. And if any of you would've used your perfectly fine eyes properly when you were supposed to, we could've spared another one of Po's inconvenient butt landings."
"How about this? You won't comment about our functioning eyes and we won't point out the one thing about you that undoubtedly doesn't function, what do you say?" Tai Lung suggested tauntingly, giving Daiyu a smug grin as Zhen snickered at her.
"And I certainly don't want to hear anything out of your mouth for the rest of the day." Tai Lung turned to Zhen, snarling as he took Daiyu's cane and pointed it at Zhen like a disciplinary teacher. "You're the reason why we haven't reached The Chameleon yet."
"Hey, I'm the only one who actually bothered to help out instead of being all broody and dark and mysterious in a corner like you!"
"With the kind of help you've offered us, I think none of us would notice the difference once we get rid of you. I still don't know why they brought you along or why Po had even put his trust in you to begin with." Tai Lung spat ghastly.
"For starters, I'm pretty quick." Zhen said.
"Yeah, quick-witted, but that only gets you so far." Daiyu replied.
"I'm handy too, as you all know by now." Zhen continued.
"Every petty thief is, so don't put yourself on a pedestal." Tai Lung said.
"Hey, I'm just too good at it." Zhen cackled, her arms rested behind her neck.
"Or maybe those people you steal from are too oblivious to what's going on around them." Tai Lung shrugged his shoulders.
"Well, not really. I mean-..."
"Oh, trust me. Most of them are." Daiyu told Tai Lung. "And they called me blind."
"See? That's what I mean." Tai Lung replied.
"Why does everyone here always believe her over me?" Zhen scorned.
"Because she's least likely to lie about something just for the sake of it!" Mantis snarked.
"And because she actually seems to know what she's talking about." Tai Lung chimed in.
