I'll Be Better

Don't hurt your brother

THE NEXT MORNING:

Ddot wakes up and smells breakfast. He turns and sees Notti still asleep. He gets up and goes to the kitchen to find DD cooking breakfast. 

DD sees him. "Good morning, Ddot." DD says cheerfully, excited to see him.

"Good morning, DD." He says back.

DD hands him a  plate of food. "I made this for you."

"What about Notti?" 

He points to a plate of food on the counter. "That's his. I'm making mine right now."

"Alright, thanks. Imma wake him up."

"Why? Just brush your teeth and eat. His food will still be here."

"Well, he should eat while his food is still hot."

DD sighs. His attempt to be alone with Ddot had failed. "That's a good idea."

Ddot had suggested that not only because the food was hot, but also because he didn't trust DD. He didn't want to be alone with him. He didn't want him to try anything. He goes to Notti's room and jumps on Notti to wake him up.

 "Oowww." Notti groans.

"Sorry, baby." He says kissing his cheek. "It's time to wake up."

"Noooo. Let me sleep."

"The food is hot. You gotta wake up."

Notti sits up. "You made breakfast?"

"DD did."

"He did?"

"Yeah. For the three of us."

"Okay." He said getting up and stretching. They both head to the bathroom and freshen up. 

When they walk out DD takes a seat at the table. The other two boys take a seat across from him next to each other. 

They all start to eat when DD get up and fills a glass with orange juice. He puts it in front of Ddot and smiles at him. "Here you go."

Notti clears his throat and holding back his anger asks, "Could I have some DD?"

"Sure." He pours one for Notti and places it in front of him. He also pours one for himself and and sits down. He eats while staring at Ddot. Notti sees this and grabs Ddots hand. He puts their interlocked fingers on the table to display. 

DD sees this and you can see jealousy and a hint of anger in his eyes. He knows that Notti was doing this on purpose. DD's reaction amused Notti, so he let go of Ddot's hand and grabbed his thigh and rubbed it instead. Ddot turns to him and smiles.

"I'm done." DD says getting up not finished with his food. He lost his appetite. "You're doing the dishes." He says glaring at Notti.

"What's his problem?" Ddot asked oblivious.

"I don't know. Just eat your food, he'll be fine." 

"Alright. I'll help you with the dishes."

DD was pacing in his room trying to cool off. It wasn't fair. He didn't want to sabotage their relationship, but he was waiting for them to break up. He wanted to be good and just wait for it to end, but it wasn't happening. He might have to interfere.

1 HOUR LATER:

 DD is in his room, when he hears noise from Notti's. He walks to the door and swings it open. "Could you guys keep it down in here?"

They had been making out on Notti's bed. "Sorry." Ddot apologized looking flustered and embarrassed. 

DD smiles at him. "You're all good. You-"

"Leave." Notti intrrupts pointing at the door.

"Ddot you like him? He's so rude and he hurts me all the time." He shows him a bruise on his arm.

Ddot felt really bad for him and turns to Notti," I told you not to hurt your brother. Look what you did." 

"He's fine. He's living. He's breathing. What more could you ask for?"  

"Stop. You hurt him. We can see it. Apologize to him and don't do it again." Ddot didn't want any unessesary fights and conflicts between them. They were brothers, they should love and protect each other. They should be there for each other, not fight and hurt each other.

"He deserves it. He keeps flirting with you and being a jerk."

"That's no excuse to hurt him. You can just have a friendly conversation."

"No."

"C'mon. For me?"

"No. This is for you and your own good."

Ddot gets up. 

"Where are you going?" Notti asks confused. 

"I'm leaving. You don't wanna apologize."

"Baby, I'm sorry. Don't leave."

"Apologize to him, not me." Ddot says pointing at DD.

Notti stays silent. He just stares at Ddot. Ddot shakes his head in dissapointment and walks away. 

When he's on his way out he's stopped by DD. "Thanks for standing up for me. I really apreciate it." He smiles then hugs Ddot.

Notti walks to the door to see Ddot out and sees them hugging. When the door is closed behind Ddot, Notti pounces onto DD. "See what you did?" He shouts at him angrily. "Why do you always have to do this? He doesn't love you anymore! He loves me! He's mine! Stop trying to hit on him!"

"He's going to." 

This angers Notti and he just keeps hitting DD with no control. "Leave him alone!" Notti shouts while beating him.

After DD got beat, he texts Ddot and sends him pictures.

Ddot, my future husband ❤️ 

Your boyfriend beat me up.

Sorry, DD. I'll talk to him.

It was bad. He was really bruised and injured. He had a black eye, bloody nose, and multiple other brusies. Ddot felt really bad and texted Notti.

Nothing?

HE SENT ME PICTURES. I KNOW WHAT YOU DID.

I'm sorry. I just got really mad. I didn't mean to.

I told you to stop.

I will. I promise.

You say that, but do it again.

I'm sorry.

Ddot just ignores his text. He tried so hard to get Notti to stop hurting DD, but he was just such a violent hothead. He still loved him though.
