I'll Be Better

I didn't cheat

Sorry for not updating yesterday. Something happend, but everything is good!

"You do?"

Ddot puts his phone in his pocket. "Yeah. A lot."

"I missed you, too." DD admits looking down.

Ddot looks at DD and smiles. It then fades away. "Then why are you so distant?"

"It was never really me. It was always because of you and Octavia."

"Me?" He asks gis voice rising as he points to himself.

"Yeah. You guys always agrue, so it's hard to be wuth the both of you."

"Do you like her?"  Ddot asks fidgeting with his ring.

"DD smiles. "Yeah. I really do."

"Actually? You like her?"

"Yeah. She's an amazing person."

"But-"

"If you're gonna say something bad about her, don't start. I'm not gonna let you do that." DD interrupts.

There is silence until Ddot suddenly says, "I love Notti, but he's changed. He's lost his sense of humor and he's more annoying. Like everytime he's like DD this, DD that and he says that I don't love him."

"Do you?"

"Yeah. I don't know why he keeps asking me that. Like don't I show you that everyday? It's frustrating."

"I gotta go. If you wanna hang out, we can do any day next week after school at my house." DD offers.

"I don't know if Notti would be happy with that."

"We don't have to worry about him. He's gonna be at a friend's house the whole week  for a project after school."

"Really?"

"Yeah. He said that."

"So, I can come over Monday?"

"Yeah."

"Okay. I will." Ddot says happily.

Ddot says and they walk out of the bathroom together. He was really excited for Monday to come and be able to hang out with DD.

MONDAY:

At the end of the day without, being seen by Notti, Ddot goes home with DD.

When they arrive he runs to DD's room in excitement and collapses on DD's bed. DD walks in after him and laughs. 

"Are you okay?" DD asks Ddot.

"I'm great." Ddot says smiling. He sits up. "Do you know when Notti's coming back?"

"He said he's gonna be there for about two hours." DD says walking toward the bed.

"Is he getting picked up?"

"It's not far. He's gonna walk." DD says taking a seat on the bed.

"Two hours including walking?"

"I don't know."

"Alright, to be safe, I'm gonna stay here for an hour and a half."

"So, we're doing homework first?" DD asks getting his laptop out.

"What? Who's doing homework? Cause it ain't me."

DD laughs. "So what are we doing?" 

"Anything but homework."
