So, Malik is injured because of football. I swear to god he should be more careful. And he was limping so he naturally got a lift pass. In my school, if you have a lift pass, you are allowed to bring one person with you and Malik brought Tyke (they're best friends; obviously).
We were going to the book fair in English, so it's from the third floor to ground and Malik, Tyke went by the elevator. The elevator was right next to the staircase that me and Mia were taking and me and Malik were really into our usual everyday banter/argument. And we were centimetres away from each other and Tyke (what a cockblocker) was like "Malik, come on, the elevator's here" and then it struck me.
I challenged Malik that I would go down three floors down faster than him in the elevator. He said "challenge accepted". I sprinted the fastest I ever did in my entire life. It was faster than Mia even though she's a professional track star (triathlete).
And I was faster and Malik pouted as a joke and Tyke, Mia were there, staring at us both kind of getting along.
