|Welcome Back|
The air was cold, and my head still spun. I am not sure what was going on or how I ended up in this situation, but it did not look good.
Coming to, the first thing I noticed was that I was sitting in a chair. My arms and legs were bound to my seat, and my mouth was gagged. It was difficult to see in the dimly lit room, as the only light came in through the tiny window above. Panicking was the last thing I wanted to do, but there seemed to be no other option.
My heart sank in my chest as I looked around for anything significant. Unfortunately, there was no indication of where I was, and I could not see much. Someone trapped me alone in this dark room with no way out. What has my life become?
A door suddenly opened, and the creaking reminded me of the creepy warehouse I had followed Ace to so long ago. Not that this was the same building, but the state of decay on the exterior gave me chills.
The sight in front of me was the next thing that instilled fear in my body. When the door opened, more light came into the room. That is when my gaze fell on the man I had been looking for. My father sat there dazed, bound in the same way as me. He had not realized my presence and was completely unaware of what was going on around him.
My eyes welled up with tears, and I immediately began making sounds with my mouth. It was difficult to speak because of the gag, but it piqued my father's interest nonetheless. When his eyes caught sight of me, he began to panic. Neither of us could hear what the other was saying, but damn, I was glad to see him.
We both attempted to lift ourselves out of the chains but were unsuccessful. I just wanted to hug him and tell him how much he was missed. It was wonderful to know he was still with me. Even under these dire circumstances. Knowing he was alive helped me get through this.
With both of us sobbing, the door opened fully and three people in masks entered. They stood there, menacingly silent. I could not figure out who any of them were or identify any distinguishing features. The tears in my eyes did not help matters either.
Noel Blackman was easily identifiable and did not attempt to hide himself. My heart immediately dropped to the pit of my stomach. I knew he was trouble, but I did not expect him to go this far. He was diabolical in the most negative ways possible.
Noel Blackman smirked as he stood between my father and me, his henchmen right behind him. "Welcome back, little girl." I could kill him. "Is not it a lovely family reunion?"
His amusement irritated me greatly, and I scowled at him. Nothing about this screamed lovely. This was morbid and sadistic. The man lacked sympathy in his body. How can one enjoy holding people hostage? He brought us both here against our will, and he had the nerve to smile. So cold-blooded.
Noel snapped his fingers, and one person approached to remove the gag around my mouth, while the other released my father. Who knows how long we were bound like this, but I could feel marks on my cheeks where the ties had been. I only needed to be able to speak properly to curse Noel out.
"What the Fuck?" I immediately questioned him. "Why the hell are we tied like this?"
Noel gave a fake wince at my words. "Hunter, you never thought about teaching this girl manners?" He continued to find amusement in all of this.
"Fuck you!" I shouted at him.
"Reign," my father called out to me. It is not as if he had never heard me curse before. Granted, I was extremely agitated at this point.
Noel smiled as he shook his head at me. I knew something was wrong with him, but what could he want from my father? Noel was far more powerful than he had ever been, yet he chose to target my family. It made no sense to me and was simply more information being kept hidden.

Romantik"You like what you see?" He whispered so seductively. I can feel my knees caving as he said that. "N-no," I stuttered. I'm not ever admitting that to him. The chuckle that escaped his lips made things exacerbated. "You sure? 'Cuz I can show you more...
