Nandito kami ngayon ni Sanny sa condo niya dahil sa sinabi ko kanina about meeting my-- parents.
Sanny is outside, standing in the balcony while talking to somebody on her phone. Hindi ko siya marinig kaya tinignan ko nalang ang paligid ko.
Simple lang ang design ng condo niya. Very minimalist unlike her personality.
Pumasok si Sanny galing sa maliit niyang balcony sa sala.
"I already called them and they are now booking a flight as soon as possible to finally meet you again, Ally."
Napatango ako. I don't know why but I feel excited at the same time very nervous about meeting them.
"Okay lang ba sa pogi mong asawa na dito ka muna sa condo ko matulog for tonight?" biglang tanong niya na ikinagulat ko.
"I didn't think of it," walang malay kong sabi.
"Call him! Baka sumulong siya rito sa condo ko. Kahit undercover agent ako and i know self defense, I'm still scared of your rich husband.. you know!"
I quickly called Butler Enrod about me staying in Sanny's place tonight although he didn't asked why but i explained to him the reason about meeting my parents.
"Tell Mama and Papa about my sleepover in my friend's place too, Butler Enrod," sabi ko sa kabilang linya.
"I will, Madam. The Old Master and Old Madam leave the mansion an hour after you left, Madam."
Tumango ako, "Saan daw ang punta nila?"
Mama and Papa look so carefree parang walang ginawa sa amin ni Zion, psh.
Though i don't blame them. Malapit ng mawala sa kalendaryo ang edad ni Zion and they are getting older na din.
"They visited Old Master's friend from States. They just got here last night," sambit ni Butler Enrod.
Uminit tuloy ang pisngi ko nang binanggit ni Butler Enrod ang last night. I really feel like he emphasized those two words.
"Oh," iyong nalang ang nasabi ko. How about Zion? Is he at home though?
"Madam, Sire ordered me to bring you clothes to wear for your sleepover with your friend," ani Butler Enrod sa kabilang linya.
Napasimangot tuloy ako sa sinabi ni Butler. That means Zion's at home, right?
"Okay, Butler Enrod," ani ko, "Nasaan pala.... siya?"
I can feel Butler Enrod smile on the other line and he cleared his throat, "Sire is in his study, Madam. He arrived home not long before you called. Do you have something to say to him, Madam? I will immediately deliver your words to Sire."
Mabilis akong umiling-iling kahit hindi niya ako makita. Anong pinagsasabi ni Butler Enrod!? He's so-- basta!
"W-W-Wala!!" ani ko sabay end ng call.
Narinig ko tuloy na tumawa si Sanny na nakaupo sa kabilang sofa so i roll my eyes at her.
"Why are you so shy about your husband, Ally? Para namang hindi kayo gumawa ng little Zion n'yo," pabirong sabi niya kaya umirap ako.
"Very funny. Tumahimik ka nga, Sanny."
Nagkibit lamang ng balikat si Sanny sa akin at saka tumayo papunta sa kusina niya kaya sumunod ako.
I spend the entire afternoon inside Sanny's condo while the owner is inside her room kaya sa living room nalang ako, minding my own business.
When the sky outside is dark, saka pa lumabas si Sanny na haggard ang mukha at buhok nito. Kumunot tuloy ang noo ko.
"Are you okay?" nag-aalalang tanong ko nito.
I'm very comfortable with Sanny i don't know why though. Para kasing matagal na kaming magkakilala same with the Sanny i remember before i came here.
Ngumiti lang si Sanny at umiling-iling.
"Why do you look so worried about me? Do you love me more than your husband right now, Mrs. Cartridge?"
She sounds serious but her face is teasing me.
Uminit tuloy ang pisngi ko dahil sa sinabi niya. Anong love ang pinagsasabi niya? Ako? Mahal siya? Psh! No way!
But.. do i love him?
"I hope you look at your face in the mirror, Ally. Your face says it all."
Umiling ako at yumuko. Hindi ko alam kung mahal ko siya. I don't know what it feels like to love a man. Lalo na at hindi ko pa masyadong kilala si Zion. I only know him on the online novel i read and some of his actions to me.
Sometimes he's hurtless, sometimes he is sweet. I don't know what to believe. I'm very confused but for now, i have to think about myself. My so-called parents i haven't meet yet.
Napabalik lang ako ng huwesyo nang bilang tumunog ang doorbell ni Sanny kaya napatayo ako sa gulat.
I look at Sanny calmly walking towards her door and open it.
Bumungad sa amin si Butler Enrod na nakangiti as he looks at Sanny in front of him first then at me.
"Madam," bati niya sa akin as he bows lightly.
Sanny steps aside so Butler Enrod can come in while holding tons of paper bags with every brands on it.
"Here's your things for tonight's sleepover as per Sire ordered, Madam."
Nahihiya tuloy akong tumingin kay Sanny when I saw her smiling smugly.
Pumasok ang ibang mga kasamahan ni Butler to put some paper bags in front of me at saka umalis.
"Sire said that we'll pick you up when you want to go home, Madam," aniya.
Kumunot ang noo ko. Is that supposed to be a good thing or a bad thing?
"Then... I will go now, Madam."
Tumango nalang ako at hinatid siya sa pinto paalis.
When i close the door, humahalakhak si Sanny kaya umiwas ako ng tingin sa kaniya at dumiretso sa sala para kunin ang mga paper bags.
"I'll be staying in the guest room," sambit ko habang hindi ko siya tiningnan at dumiretso lang sa guest room.
"I'll cook dinner for us!" paalam nito so i hummed.
I neatly put the paper bags beside the bed. Umalis din agad ako after I'm done putting those paper bags.
Mabilis din natapos nagluto ng dinner si Sanny kaya nagtataka akong tumingin sa mesa pero cup noodles lang pala ang dinner namin.
Gusto ko tuloy umiyak. Mabuti pa sa bahay, masasarap ang mga pagkain.
"Don't frown in front of the food, Ally," saway ni Sanny kaya umayos ako.
"Your parents booked a flight tonight so i guess they'll arrived tomorrow," anunsyo niya.
Tumango ako, "Silang dalawa lang ba?"
"Yeah. Nag-iisang anak ka lang naman nila," aniya kaya uminom ako ng tubig at nagpatuloy na ulit kumain.
Tahimik lang kaming kumain ng cup noodles namin hanggang sa natapos kami.
"This the best when eating cup noodles. Pagkatapos kumain ay itatapon lang agad," masayang sambit nito.
Napailing-iling nalang ako. Kaya pala.
Hindi ko tuloy alam kung tama ba itong desisyon kong dito matulog.
