Roman was preparing himself for a convention he was rather excited about.

He'd invited Virgil to come along, but the man told him that it wasn't really his thing, so they agreed that Roman would go by himself but call every night while he was there.

As he finished packing his things into his car for the trip, Roman was suddenly pulled away into a hug. He smiled and held Virgil close to his chest, allowing the anxious man to listen to his heartbeat for a moment before they parted.

"Have fun" Virgil said fondly as they pulled away, giving Roman a kiss on the cheek. "Text me when you get there so I know you're safe"

"Of course" Roman promised. "I love you"

"I love you too"
