Meanwhile, Dev and Kriti were engaged in their usual bickering, much to the amusement of the others.
"Main keh raha hoon, Kriti, I'm the King of skiing" Dev boasted, earning an "are you serious" look from Kriti.
"Haan haan, and Im the Queen of England," Kriti quipped, rolling her eyes.
Vedang, noticed Iraa's hesitation. She flashed him a bright embarrassed smile.
"Are you scared?" he asked smirking. "What no nah i'm not scared i was just looking at the distance" she said faning herself.
"Don't worry Iraa if Dev can do it you can do it aaram se" Kriti said from other side. "Hey what do you mean?!" Dev asked but Kriti sled down running away from him amd he went behind her.
Karan was helping Iraa when he saw Aditi slipping down. He went to help her leaving Iraa's hands.
"Bhai what the heck? You choosing her before you sister! IM DISOWNING YOU!" she shouted and wiggled trying to get her balance.
"Do you need my help?" Vedang asked holding her arm giving her support. She thought for a minute and then nodded.
"How come we are always stuck together at the end" she said giggling. "I think it's your destiny" Sidharth said and slid down.
Both of them looked at him as he winked. Vedang shrugged smiling. They headed for the beginner slopes.
As they navigated the slopes, Dev and Kriti found themselves in the midst of another argument.
"Arrey Dev, careful na! You nearly stepped on my skis!" Kriti scolded, her cheeks flushed with annoyance.
"Relax, Kriti. It's not like I did it on purpose," Dev retorted, flashing her a mischievous grin.
With Vedang's guidance, Iraa struggled to find her balance on the skis, but soon enough stood up on her own.
"Okay now skii down I'll go at the end" Vedang said turning around but she called him.
"Wait no what if I fall?" "You won't fall and it's snow everywhere it won't hurt" he said.
"But what if-" "I'll catch you okay?" he said. "Promise?" she asked showing him her pinky finger making him giggle.
"Are you a child?" he asked laughing.
"Promise or not? warna leave it im not doing it" she said taking her hand back but he held it.
"Pinky promise! im just little far! I won't let you fall" he said and Iraa felt a sense of reassurance. She nodded.
She went down but freaked out at the speed and left her ski poles. She shut her eyes and slammed to a rather soft surface falling down.
"And I thought someone said she's strong" she looked up it was Vedang. She didn't fall, he catched her like he promised. She was on top of him.
"I-i am very strong okay its just skiing hi itni mushkil hai" Iraa said rolling her eyes. "Acha aisa kya?" He said laughing. His body vibrated as he laughed making her laugh too.
Vedang's POV
She rolled on other side besides me. "wahh this feels nice thanda thanda cool cool" she smiled. "iknow but now when we get up over clothes will be wet" I said.
Iraa laughed, brushing snow off her jacket as we got up.
"So Ms. Singhania ready to retry?" I said offering my hand. She huffed and took my hand "AAJ TOH MAINE SIKH KE REHNA HAI!" she said proudly and walked away like a penguin
She was cute. "For a 5 feet 3 inch girl you do have a lot to talk" I said as she gave me a side eye.
"My height is properly average okay!" she said. "Okay shortie" I said. "HEY!" she got more angry.
I turned around and a snow ball hit my back. I looked back it was her.
No one's POV
"That's the most wrong thing you did Ms. Singhania" Vedang said as he took some snow and made a ball out of it.
"Eeee Vedang you are going to hit a girl!" Iraa said as she ran laughing like a kid.
He threw the ball at her. He didn't throw it harshly ofcourse and screamed.
"Gender Equality!"
