Chapter 24: Raat abhi suhani hai✨️

The rest of the day was filled with more secret moments and playful interactions. Vedang would find ways to brush his hand against hers, whisper something in her ear, or steal a quick cheek kiss when no one was looking.

Later in the evening, they all gathered in the living room to play board games while eating their sandwiches. Vedang and Iraa sat next to each other, their legs touching under the table.

"Kriti, your turn," Dev said, nudging her.

Kriti rolled the dice, then turned to Dev. "I bet I’ll beat you this time."

"In your dreams," Dev retorted, smirking.

Aditi, sitting across from Karan, tried to strike up a conversation. "So, Karan, do you like playing board games?"

"Yeah, they’re fun," Karan replied, smiling at her. "Do you?"

"Absolutely," Aditi said, feeling her cheeks heat up.

As the game went on, Sidharth and Kriti continued their teasing. "Vedang, you seem distracted," Sidharth said, a mischievous glint in his eye.

"I’m just focused on winning," Vedang replied, though his gaze kept drifting to Iraa.

"Sure you are," Kriti said, laughing.

"You guys could make a cute couple," Karan said suddenly, making Iraa almost choke on her sandwich.

"What?" she said, coughing. Karan shrugged. "Just saying."

Vedang laughed. "Thanks, man."

Aditi looked at Karan with a shy smile. "So, Karan, do you have a girlfriend?"

Karan shook his head and smirked "Nope. Why, are you interested?"

Aditi blushed. "Maybe."

At night,

Everyone went to their rooms to sleep. The girls gossiped for some time and then slept.

Iraa was just about to doze off and turn off the dim light, when she heard the room door open slightly. She looked up and saw Vedang peeping his head inside, smiling mischievously at her.

Her eyes widened in shock, because Aditi and Kriti were in the same room sleeping and could see him there.

"What are you doing??!" Iraa mouthed, signing him to go out, but Vedang? that guy didn't move a flinch instead came in towards her.

"Vedang!" Iraa whispered hitting his head. "Oww! You weren't replying to my texts! mei kya karta!" He whispered back.

Iraa sighed. "Seriously? time dekha hai aapne sir?" she rolled her eyes. "Raat abhi bhi suhani hai meri jaan" he said smiling sheepishly making Iraa cringe so hard and giggle.

Vedang was half sitting. She looked at Vedang and he looked like he was about to sneeze making her eyes go wide.

She moved ahead quickly to cover his mouth but instead they both lost balance and she slipped off the bed.

**THUD**

"WHAT WHAT HAPPENED?!! WHO DIED?!! EARTHQUAKE!" Aditi woke up shouting, loud enough for everyone in the room to hear but not so much that everyone else would wake up in the house.

Kriti too, sleeply rubbed her eyes, looking towards Iraa's bed.

Meanwhile Iraa now on top of Vedang lying at the other side of her bed panicked. They couldn't see them as she was sleeping at the corner bed.

"K-kuch nhi guys!! I fell down !" She replied standing up slightly kicking Vedang, because it was his fault.

"girl when will you grow up...I thought you stopped falling from your bed after 16 but you still do" Kriti said rubbing her eyes.

"are you fine?" Aditi asked laying back on her bed , to which Iraa nodded. "Sorry guys so jao abh..good night"

"goodnight" They both said and drifted off to sleep. Iraa quickly turned off the lights not wanting another mishap.

Vedang got up little to check. He looked at Iraa, who was extremely done with him right now, but nonetheless looked beautiful to him.

The moonlight from the window casted on her face just enough for him to see her.

"Vedang you seriousl-" she was whisper shouting him, when he kept his finger on her lips, shushing her right there.

He tucked her hair behind her ear with his hand, looking at her with so much admiration. Iraa noticed that, and soon her anger went away, she smiled slightly.

To her it felt like the first time someone looked at her with those eyes. She cupped his cheeks and brushed his soft curly hair away from his forehead, kissing it.

Vedang who was already melting looking at her..now did more when she kissed his forehead. He felt so loved, like a small child.

These emotions were extremely new to him, he had no idea how he was acting or behaving.

Hell he won't ever think about coming into someone's room ever. But this girl right here made him feel thousands of emotions he had never known or experienced.

Iraa sat down on the floor with him, putting pillows under her blanket so that no one gets suspicious.

There was a comfortable silence between them, just looking in eachothers eyes, brushing eachothers hair. Iraa smiled. To which Vedang raised his eyebrows. She just shaked her head as nothing.

They didn't talk or anything. Until Iraa started, "aren't you sleepy?" "honestly I am but I dont want to go.." he said looking down, kind of embarrassed. She smiled finding him cute.

"ahh I never thought the cold ass Vedang Suryavanshi would be this cute after liking someone" she teased him, and he rolled his eyes.

She wrapped her arm around his and rested her head on his shoulders. He leaned into her touch and rested his head on hers Slightly as well.

"Iraa.." "hmm?" "I know it's very obvious but I haven't said anything properly ever to you so..
