Evening

"Guys, let's take a proper group photo!" Aditi suggested.

"Group photo nahi Adi, yeh toh family photo hai," Megha (her mother) said, giggling.

"Haan Megha ji! Bohot hi sahi baat kahi aapne," Sneha (Iraa's mom) agreed wholeheartedly.

"Okay, how about we all wear something coordinated, like matching colors?" Kriti suggested.

"Oh, that's a good idea! Let's all wear something pastel-colored," Iraa chimed in.

"Abe yaar, abhi toh packing ki thi," Dev groaned.

"Don't be a baby, Dev," Kriti mocked him.

Few minutes later

The Singhania parents came down wearing yellow pastel colored outfits, while the Suryavanshi parents were in green and orange.

"Waah bhai aap sabne toh couple matching outfit jaise kar liya, i feel so single" Sidharth cried dramatically.

"Koi na beta your days would come to" Ram patted his back.

"Inke toh din kabse aagye hai" Dev muttered smirking at Sidharth, who gave him a glare. "Kya kaha?" Ram asked.

"Kuch nahi, Papa. Chalo, photo lete hain!" Dev quickly deflected, running away from Sidharth's accusing gaze.

The evening was cool, just tolerable enough to stay in casual clothes. Kriti and Aditi joined the group downstairs, wearing mixed pastel colors, informing everyone that Iraa would be down in a moment.

A while later

Iraa finally came down the stairs, wearing a pastel blue dress she had packed specifically for photoshoots, though she hadn't gotten the chance to wear it before.

As she walked down, she caught her dad's eye, who was looking at her with pure adoration. She smiled warmly back at him.

Her eyes shifted to Karan, standing to her dad's left, who gave her a proud look that said, You look beautiful, bacche.

But it was when she glanced to her dad's right that her breath hitched-Vedang was staring at her.

His brown eyes staring into her. His gaze was intense, filled with something that made her stomach flip.

The adoration in his eyes matched her father's and brother's but with a deeper, more personal connection.

Iraa giggled mentally at the thought that the three most important men in her life were all looking at her with such affection.

"Oh, look!" Neeta, glancing between Iraa and Vedang. "You two are matching!"

Iraa blinked, startled, and looked at Vedang again, only to realize they were, in fact, both in sky blue.
