Hobie has braids in this chapter.

Hobie and Miles are both still spiderman, just in the same universe.
The watches now work as teleportation (for them) other than changing dimensions. This means yes, they are actually used for traveling dimensions, but Miles and Hobie only use them to get back and forth from places.

IM SORRY IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO MAKE A ONESHOT WHAHSHSHSHS

Whenever people came across Hobie in hallways, they would always see his carefree personality, extreme style, and they would see him gently making out with his boyfriend Miles Morales. But something was unusual about this day. Instead of his carefree personality, it seemed people were looking at a disturbed, sort of frail boy. Hobie had a habit of scratching his right shoulder until it bled whenever he was anxious.

Hobie, that particular day, felt like absolute shit. He'd stayed up all night studying for a test in a subject he struggled with, trying to get a good grade since he was failing the class. On top of that, he was pretty sure drinking a bunch of cups of coffee at night and staying up until 4 AM wasn't a good thing. He'd felt sick the entire morning, and his stomach felt lopsided while he slept. His tummy acid bubbled and danced.

Miles happened to see his wandering boyfriend heading towards his locker. A smile grinned on his face as he pranced his way over to hug him from behind. "Hobesss!" Miles said, wrapping his hands around Hobie's tiny waist, his tall figure making it hard for Miles to give him a proper hug. Hobie jumped slightly, wincing since his stomach still hurt. But he calmed as he realized it was Miles. "Ey' luv," he said, seemingly not really focused on Miles but at the floor, daydreaming, while his hand scratched his shoulder.

Miles noticed his lack of interest and tried to follow his eyes to where he was staring, only to see the blood in his fingernails. It wasn't the first time Miles had caught Hobie scratching himself, so it wasn't new to Miles the reasons he'd be doing it. "Mi amor, I'd rather you scratch me than you scratch yourself," Miles said, grabbing Hobie's hand. "What's wrong? You can always talk to me, baby." Miles grabbed the side of Hobie's face. The other hand holding his. Hobie's face made it clear he was trying to hold back tears. "I feel like shit, Miles," he said, his voice breaking at the touch. Miles' eyes softened, staring at his stomach, his thumb swiped over it gently. His crop top revealed some of his tummy. "Is that why you winced when I hugged you? Does your tummy hurt?" he asked. Hobie snickered slightly. "Tummy?" he said through his laugh. "M' mama always referred to it as tummy!" He yelled quietly, pouting slightly. But his mood changed, still worried about his boyfriend. "But seriously, does it hurt?" he asked, getting closer to Hobie, looking up slightly so he could look him in the eyes. "The pain changes... sometimes it'll hurt really bad, but sometimes it's like—" He hesitated, not wanting to mention what it felt like. "N-needles poking you."

Miles laid his head on Hobie's chest, hugging him softly, making sure not to hurt him. "I think you should go back home," Miles said, his fingers gently rubbing his stomach, while Hobie hugged him back. But then, he jumped slightly, backing up. "N-No! I stayed up all night for this! I'm not going home," he yelled, looking at Miles with a twisted face. "You stayed up? Hobes, I told you to stop doing that! I-I can help you with schoolwork—" Hobie cut him off, saying, "No, I don't want to worry you with my problems." He turned away from Miles, frowning. "What the fuck, Hobes? I'm your boyfriend, it's my job to care for you—" All of a sudden, Hobie felt this sharp pain in his stomach. It churned, making him grab it painfully. He grabbed his mouth, feeling the back of his throat burn.
