846.Scheme Upon Scheme

Truthfully, those two foreigners could not bear to use her as a live target.

Back when she was at the abandoned town, she had accidentally noticed Lisa.

For the sake of approaching him, she volunteered to become a live target to attract other players' attention. She had hoped Lisa would save her, and also lower his guard in this manner. Eventually, she would be able to offer her body to him.

Jennie glanced at her tears. "Quit your crying act. Who are you trying to convince with those tears? It's true we needed you to bring us around in the daytime. You really saved us a lot of trouble. But right now..."

Dai Weian brought her gun out and was about to point it at Jennie's chest.

However, Lisa was one step ahead. He whipped out his gun and fired directly at her head, killing her instantly.

Dai Weian's eyes widened in shock. She truly could not believe that things were over for her this quickly.

She collapsed onto the ground with her eyes wide open. Blood splattered onto the ground from her wound.

Jennie snatched the gun from her hand and checked her breath. She was no longer breathing.

At this moment, the fire was growing stronger and smoke was filling the air.

Lisa lifted Dai Weian's body and used a pile of branches to support her corpse. This way, it appeared as though she was sitting in front of the fire. He then continued Jennie's words from earlier. "Right now, we need a 'target' too."

After speaking, both Jennie and him walked away from the fire. They waited in ambush behind a tree nearby.

The fire gradually grew stronger.

From afar, it appeared as though someone was seated in the yard to have a barbeque in the dark.

Two motorbikes drove into the forest. They had seen the smoke rising up the air from afar.

As the rumble of their bikes was especially loud, the two foreigners abandoned their bikes a good distance from the fire. They then jogged into the forest.

Their goal was clear as they proceeded. They noticed the abandoned home and snuck in from the back.

When they realized that there was someone before the fire, they immediately pointed their guns towards that person.

At the same time, Lisa and Jennie each pointed their guns directly at the heads of the two 'players'.

Both men were killed instantly.

These two had outstanding shooting skills.

The two foreigners collapsed onto the ground with a cry. One of them appeared to have realized that Dai Weian was dead. He murmured softly. "Weian..." as he crawled one step forward before he stopped breathing.

In an instant, the two men, who had pursued them in the morning, were dead.

Dai Weian had assumed that Jennie had started a fire for warmth, but how could she possibly have made such a foolish mistake?
