"My stomach hurts! I think I'm about to give birth!" Tzuyu's complexion was as pale as a sheet of paper.
Sehun supported her in the backseat and hurriedly ran to the driver's seat. He sped down the road towards the hospital. "My wife, don't be afraid. I'm here with you..."
"My stomach really hurts, Hubby..." Tzuyu felt that she had grown soft the moment Sehun appeared.
However, the pain in her stomach was truly unbearable.
"Hold on a little longer. We'll be there immediately..." Sehun comforted her repeatedly.
Although the roads were quite empty, Sehun was not familiar with this place and did not dare to drive too quickly.
Twenty minutes later, they arrived at the nearest hospital. Sehun completed the hospitalization procedure and waited urgently outside the delivery room.
He made a call to his father, Lee Xuan, and informed him that Tzuyu was giving birth.
Ever since Lee Xuan woke up from his coma, he went through months of rebailitation and was now able to walk with the help of a walking stick.
Sehun urged him to rest and wait at home. Lee Xuan, however, immediately asked for the address. He declared that he would come immediately to visit his daughter-in-law.
After ending the call, Sehun pulled up Jennie's contact number and hesitated to make the call.
It was only right that he informed her immediately about the joyful matter.
However... at the thought that Jennie had trouble conceiving, he was worried that Jennie would be disappointed when she heard he was going to be a father.
Still, he was certain that his sister would beat him to death if he did not inform her.
Thus, he mustered up his courage and dialed the number.
"Brother, did you find Tzuyu? Have you guys reconciled? No matter what, you have to coax her well and treasure her, do you understand me?" Jennie's sweet voice could be heard from the other end.
Sehun keenly felt her concern. He knew clearly that she had always treated him like her real brother. "We've already reconciled. Jennie, I have some good news for you. Your sister-in-law was already pregnant before she left me. She's about to give birth any moment. I'm waiting outside the delivery room right now."
"What!" Jennie's voice was filled with shock.
She sounded ecstatic the next minute. "That's great! I'm going to become an aunt! Where are you guys right now? Send me your location. I'll fly over right now!"
After ending the call, Sehun shared his location with her on WeChat.
He had thought that Jennie would be upset. To his shock, that was completely not the case. Instead, she was overjoyed for him.
He was deeply moved.
An hour later, Jennie tugged Lisa along to step out of the hospital's elevator. Lee Xuan and Lee Jingyuan followed after them as they approached Sehun.
A group of bodyguards also followed behind them.
Sehun did not expect for Lisa or Director Lee to come.
After all, though he was Lee Xuan's adopted son, Lee Xuan had already left the Lee home for over twenty years.
Before Lee Jingyuan recognised Jennie as his granddaughter, he had never met his adopted grandson.
Lee Jingyuan himself had declared that he would not interfere with how Lee Xuan distributed his personal assets. However, back when Lee Xuan left the family years ago, he had already given up his succession rights to the family business.
If Lee Xuan was no longer an eligible successor, his adopted son, Sehun, naturally would not inherit anything.
Lee Jingyuan was the only person who could determine the fate of the Lee family's business.
The elderly prioritized bloodline heavily. Thus, Les Jingyuan made it clear to everyone that the business would skip past Lew Xuan's hands and be entirely given to Jennie.
Since Lee Xuan's words did not hold any power in the Lew family, Lee Xuan naturally did not oppose this decision.
