She had sent Tzuyu countless messages. However, she never received any replies.
Tzuyu's father once called her to inform her that Tzuyu had changed her contact number. She had also moved to a different place. However...
She temporarily did not wish to contact anyone.
Thus, she was actually safe.
Jennie understood very well that Tzuyu was avoiding Sehun.
The reason Tzuyu avoided contacting her was firstly because she was afraid she would give Sehun her contact information. Secondly, it was also because Tzuyu had misunderstood that Sehun had fallen for his sister.
She sighed internally.
[It's been almost ten months since you left. My brother has been searching for you everyday. His career was originally just about to take off but those prospects are no longer there. The woman he loves is you. He is simply too innocent when it comes to feelings and he misunderstood his familial love towards me as romantic love. This isn't my first time explaining this matter to you, but I'm afraid that because it has been too long since you logged into WeChat, my old messages have expired. Tzuyu, I miss you. Come back!]
She wrote a long message and sent it to Tzuyu via WeChat.
She no longer cared if her messages were being read. She simply wrote the things that she wished to convey.
She glanced to the side. Through the windows, the weather appeared especially bright and sunny. Yesterday, she heard from her brother that he frequently visited Tzuyu's parents in between his long search. Finally, Father Chou shared Tzuyu's location with him and he would make the trip today to find her.
She hoped for a happy ending between Tzuyu and her brother.
...
In a village located two hundred kilometers away from the city center, Sehun drove a BMW SUV slowly along the village path. He carefully scanned the surroundings and realized that there weren't many households here. It seemed like there were less than forty homes in this village.
According to Father Chou, Tzuyu's rented home was located on the slope of the mountain at the end of this road.
When he arrived at the foot of the mountain, he glanced upwards.
There was only one home visible on the slope. It was easy to locate.
Five minutes later, he drove into a small courtyard in the mountains.
He was certain that he had found the right place. This was because Tzuyu's Audi Q7 was also parked there.
He alighted from his car and scanned the surroundings. The home was built with white bricks and it appeared to be two storeys tall. There were bright green vines growing on the walls.
In front of the house, there was also a small vegetable garden. Various crops like french beans and green onions were growing... They were all ripe for the picking.
It seemed like this was a comfortable little farmhouse.
Tzuyu had been born into a wealthy family background. Perhaps, she would enjoy the quiet and peaceful life offered in a village like this.
A tanned, young man stepped out of the house. When he saw Sehun, he said unhappily, "Who are you? How could you trespass somebody else's courtyard!"
"Tzuyu stays here, doesn't she? I'm her husband. Who are you?" Sehun declared his identity.
The young man sized Sehun up and realized that he was especially attractive and refined. Even a simple movement of his hand carried grace and demeanor.
With one glance, it was clear that this was a well-educated and outstanding individual.
He wasn't someone a common villager like him could compete with.
Lin Haisheng's gaze turned jealous. He then demanded in anger. "How could Tzuyu have a husband? Isn't she a divorcee?"
Sehun was also taking Lin Haisheng in. The man wore a pair of slippers, a simple grey vest and a baggy pair of pants. He appeared very casually dressed.
Based on the calluses on his hands and his tan skin, this man was used to hard labor.
Originally, he had felt jealous at the sight of another man in Tzuyu's home.
