It could similarly attract their enemies and give them an opportunity to kill them.
Lisa and Jennie followed the markings that Mark left behind and searched the area. However, they still could not locate him.
The game encompassed an extremely large space. It was too difficult and risky to look for someone here.
Based on Mark's skills, surviving this game wasn't a problem for him.
Rather than searching for him, perhaps it would be better to attract his attention.
During the day, Dai Weian had brought them on a long journey by car, yet they did not find anyone along the way.
That meant most of the 'players' were already dead.
The two of them remained in ambush in the dark. They planned on attracting more players and eliminating all of them, so as to leave this game.
For the next four to five hours, Lisa returned to the yard several times to add more branches to the fire. The fire burned strongly through the night.
Soon, it was the next day.
Both of them patiently remained in ambush in the best position, perched high on the tree.
A sedan car drove into the forest and headed straight for the fire.
All of a sudden, the driver appeared to have noticed something. The car reversed and turned around to leave.
Lisa and Jennie guessed that the opponent must have left after realizing that this fire was made on purpose to attract enemies.
Still, all the players here needed to obtain victory. Even if they knew that this was a trap, they would definitely pursue people here.
They would simply do so with a different method.
Sure enough, in an hour, Lisa noticed someone making his way up the mountain from the slope behind the apartment through his binoculars.
The binoculars could be switched to night vision. He watched as the opponent held his own binoculars to scan the three corpses in the yard.
Lisa spoke softly into Jennie's ears.
The two of them silently moved and hid behind an especially big tree. This way, even if the opponent searched for them, he wouldn't be able to discover their location.
The opponent was clearly very patient. Despite realizing that there were people in the yard, he did not fire his gun and reveal his location.
Lisa waited for him to descend the slope.
He needed the opponent to move closer before he could take him down.
Another person quietly snuck into the forest. He made his way near the apartment and immediately threw a hand grenade into the first and second storey of the apartment.
With two loud clamors, the abandoned house collapsed from the force of the explosion.
Thankfully, they did not choose to hide on the rooftop. Otherwise, they would have been doomed.
Lisa considered killing the player with a bomb.
However, this would reveal his location.
There was still someone waiting in ambush on the slope behind the apartment.
He deliberated over this and decided not to fire his gun for Jennie's safety.
Clearly, the sniper on the slope was losing patience. He shot the player who had thrown the grenades to death in an instant.
Lisa could not help but feel a little frustrated that he did not have access to a rifle.
Otherwise, he could easily take out that player without revealing himself.
Later into the night, the fire extinguished on its own.
Lisa and Jennie remained unmoving in their positions.
This was because the sniper was still there. He was also waiting in ambush.
Both parties were on high alert. It was clear they were both aware that there were players still alive on the other side and were waiting to see who would lose patience first.
At 6:30 in the morning.
The sniper appeared to have discovered something. He began to wave his arms as though in greeting.
He then hurriedly descended the slope.
As he approached, Lisa was able to point his gun accurately at him.
However, he did not fire.
Although Jennie did not have a pair of binoculars, she also noticed the sniper hurrying towards them all of a sudden.
