He La glanced at the middle-aged woman. That was Nuo's mother. She had fainted due to grief.

Yi Mo glanced at Lisa in sympathy and spoke to Jennie in English. "He will die. The situation is dangerous. Come to me."

Jennie frowned in confusion. "Earlier, you intentionally caused a misunderstanding, right? What did you tell everyone?"

Yi Mo believed He La would not betray him. There wasn't another person here who knew English. Thus, he wasn't afraid to speak to her honestly. "He killed Nuo. He must pay with his life."

"He did not!" Jennie replied in rage. "You intentionally framed him!"

A hint of murderous intent flashed past Lisa's gaze. From the moment Yi Mo picked up the hatchet, to when he witnessed everyone's agitation and then the middle-aged woman's reaction, he had guessed the situation.

Yi Mo was unashamed as he responded. "This is all for you." His gaze was hungry as he stared at her. "Once he dies, you are mine!"

He suddenly pointed at Lisa and commanded in their local language. "Kill him! Take revenge for Nuo!"

The villagers held up their hatchets, hammers and poles in agitation. They then charged towards Lisa.

Lisa would not stand still for them to attack them. Thus, before the first villager could slam his pole at him, he quickly held Jennie and dodged to the side.

As the assailant fell forward, he snatched his pole and used it to fight back against the other villagers who were coming towards him with hatchets in their hands.

He swept them aside, sent them flying with a kick and choked them... Lisa's moves were delivered in a bewitching manner. Although none of them were killed, they were sent crashing onto the ground within a matter of seconds.

When Yi Mo saw this, a hint of rage flashed past his vicious expression. "Kill him! We must kill him!"

The villagers' blood was pumping due to their anger. They stood up over and over again to continue the fight and appeared as fierce as tigers...

Gradually, Lisa began to weaken from needing to protect Jennie.

Jennie had planned on revealing her skills to help him. It was no trouble for her to deal with a few people.

However, she thought about it and felt it would be too difficult for the both of them to deal with over a hundred people.

Besides, these villagers were only being used by Yi Mo.

She needed to outsmart him.

She saw that the villagers appeared to be targeting Lisa. Thus, she spoke to Yi Mo. "Didn't you ask me to go to you? I'm coming now."

Lisa watched as Jennie left his side. A hint of worry flashed past his eyes.

"You should have been with me from the start. He wouldn't have had to die, then." Yi Mo spoke in English. "Remember, you killed him."

Jennie approached Yi Mo.

Yi Mo took in her stunning features and her fair skin. His gaze was filled with admiration.

The women in their village were miles away from this woman's beauty.

At the thought that he would soon obtain her, he was very excited.

He held Nuo's hatchet in his hand and was about to embrace her.

To his shock, Jennie snatched the hatchet from him and quickly pressed the blade of the hatchet against his neck. "Tell them to stop. Otherwise, I'll kill you!"

Yi Mo's expression was filled with shock and rage from her threat. "Woman, you don't even have the guts to kill a chicken, much less a man..."

Before he could finish, Jennie dug the blade against his neck, causing him to cry out in pain.

He began bleeding from the shallow cut.

Jennie smiled coldly. "I'll let you find out if I have the guts to kill you. If you don't stop now, I'll deepen the cut.. Soon, you'll lose your life!"
