Enel Headcannons - falling for an innocent mute soldier!
• Enel never expected to fall in love. • When he realised it, he wasn't as off put by the idea as he thought he would be, powerful people deserve beautiful things. • He found himself listening out for their voice when they were away, but he never got to hear it, and he never knew why at first. • After he realised they were mute that only intrigued him tenfold. • Overtime he became protective of them, and if anyone was to speak badly on their name, he'd not spare a soul. • He liked the innocence they had, it made his love for them feel all the more balanced. • He would find himself seeking them out, watching them fight, his mouth would be oozing pretty compliments before he could stop himself. • He viewed them like he does everyone, like they belong to him, and if they ever betrayed his loyalty it would be hurt but he'd discard them easily. • Enel could get lost in watching them, and he wasn't shy about it. He knew nobody would ever be stupid enough to tease him about it, he's a god after all. • He doesn't play into fantasies to daydreaming, he's very upfront and forward with his affections and he really doesn't give much choice to them. • If he's gonna confess he's going to outright just state that, he wants them to be his and he isn't really taking no for an answer. • If they insist on not wanting to be his, then I can see him disposing of them quickly, or maybe he'd give it some time and try again and then if it's still a no, he's done with them. • If they reciprocate, well he's officially spoiling, dominating, not letting them from his sight. He comes across as unbothered but deep down he's not losing something he holds dear. • He will have them close to him at all times, they fight for him now, they serve him now, in more ways than one. • In his eyes they better feel special, because he's a god, giving the time of day to a simple human. • His view on love is warped. To him they can mean the world, but it doesn't change how he treats and views them, it just means that they're closer to him. • He's not going to stop his toxic behaviours just because his heart opened a couple of inches, but he will be a smooth talker, and one to spoil the one he loves, as long as he's happy, there's no problems.
