Trigger warning: this is your warning!! This is going to go in depth about suicidal ideation, so don't read ahead if you can't handle that!! If you ever need someone to talk to, I'll always listen, I have other platforms I can give to reach out on!!

You had been different for a while now. You lost a fight pretty badly not long ago, and it seems your already fragile ego took a hit. Heat and Wire were the first to notice. You hadn't been coming to any training sessions, and you hadn't really left your bunk other than to eat and drink and other necessities.

You currently lay staring at the ceiling. Contemplating everything in your mind. At times it all felt too overwhelming and like you'd just sink to the bottom of the ocean. Other times you felt extremely selfish for allowing yourself to fall bask into this hole, and ignore the crew.

You figured everyone was to busy to notice your failing mental state. You just continued to spiral in silence, you tried to go about your daily tasks but you had no energy anymore for any of it. Food, friendships, fighting, none of it was bringing you the sense of joy it used to.

It was more noticeable than you realised especially when you became careless in battles, scraps and fights. Almost as if you didn't care if you won or lost. After on where Heat had to step in to stop you from being stabbed they knew it was time to corner you.

You were walking through the ship when you were pulled aside. "Y/n what's going on" Wire spoke first. "I've never seen you so careless in a battle.." Heat added. You sighed. Your own dead eyes barely met theirs.

"Off day I guess" you shrugged. Their faces were hard, clearly they didn't believe you. "No that seemed like you didn't care if you lived or died" Heat spoke in a harsh tone. "Not to mention you've been moping for weeks, you think we haven't noticed" Wire stepped forward pushing you further into the corner.

"Maybe I didn't care" you shot back, taking them off guard. Part of them hadn't assumed they'd be right, despite everything pointing to that. "What..?" Wire questioned. You sighed. "I've been thinking about.." you couldn't even finish your sentence looking at their disappointed faces.

"Doing the unthinkable?" Heat finished for you, and at your weak nod they frowned deeper. "Don't you even dare do that" Wire started. Were they mad? Don't be stupid why would they care..

"Y/n are you listening to us, please" Heat begged, placing a hand on your shoulder. "You don't have to tell us what's going on in your head.. but.. come to us if you feel like you might.." Wire had to pause because he couldn't even say the words. His own crew member.. friend.. had been struggling with these thoughts right next to them for god knows how long.

"I-" you didn't even know what to say, tears brimmed in your eyes, spilling over. Part of you felt embarrassed for coming clean, but seeing that they actually cared made you feel guilty. "We'll come check in on you everyday.. you're not alone you know" Heat spoke up. Not alone.. those words.. on this crew nobody is alone..

"You mean it..?" You asked, it came out as an unsure whisper almost. "Yes because you're our friend and crew mate" Heat confirmed. "We care for you a lot you know. We'd be lost without you on the crew" Wire also placed his hand on your other shoulder.

"Come on.. let's go sit on the deck for a while" Wire ushered you all outside. It was a nice day and they just wanted to be with you, make sure you weren't going to do anything you couldn't take back.

Things went on like that for a little while. Of course you didn't heal overnight, but with the help of Heat and Wire constantly checking in, you started finding that things felt more normal,, more enjoyable, you started looking forward to waking up the next day instead of dreading it.

You had a long way to go, but you knew with them you'd be fine.
