Sam's mission gets complicated as Reine informs him that Shido now needs to date Kotori to raise her happiness bar and seal her spirit power. They only have 2 days to prepare for the date, Sam is to be on standby in case the date doesn't go smoothly, due to Origami getting a glimpse of the Flame Spirit before falling unconscious, so Sam has a hunch that she might come back for revenge.
Mukuro and Yoshino are to accompany Shido with Tohka and Kotori so they can go to the pool and he can watch from the sidelines. Right now we see Vajra in his room, on his bed, looking at a crystal that is half dark, half light. That is his Sephira Crystal.
Vajra: "Hmm..."
Vajra closes his hand, making the crystal disappear, and goes over to one of his dressers, opening it and revealing a collection of books. He grabs one of them and opens it, showing research notes about Sephira Crystals.
Vajra: 'We spirits will soon face greater threats in the future, so we must be prepared. Evolution is key to our survival.'
He turns one of the pages, showing a Sephira crystal surrounded by darkness and a key inserted into it.
Vajra: 'An evolution that surpasses Inverse. Every angel serves God, and when that God is deceased, one of them succeeds the throne. That Angel becomes the new God.'
He turns another page, showing the Sephira crystals that belong to Yoshino and Kotori, and an unknown Sephira Crystal by the name <Gabriel>.
Vajra: '<Zadkiel>, <Camael>, and <Gabriel> are the closest ones to evolve. But it's a risky matter considering the Spirit must Inverse and control their despair and return from the depths of the abyss. I don't think the others can manage...only time will tell.'
He closes the book and places it back in his dresser and lays on his bed, closing his eyes.
1 day has passed and preparations are now made. Shido suggested that the date should take place at the amusement park and indoor water park. Sam agreed to it and had Mukuro and Yoshino go with Shido shopping for swimsuits, unintentionally running into Origami. While the white-haired girl was suspicious of Mukuro and Yoshino being there, Sam was on standby in case she figured it out and would promptly lock away her memories of both of them with <Michael>.
Of course, Sam was hearing everything from Kannazuki through the COMMS and was practically about to get annoyed beyond belief. Mukuro and Yoshino were in their separate stalls changing into their swimsuits. Sam was invisible in the store but he had to shrink his shoulder plates so he wouldn't knock anything over. The Molten Knight was practically silently chuckling to himself that Origami and Tohka were doing their utmost best to impress Shido, who was about to have a brain meltdown.
After a bit, Mukuro comes out of her stall in her swimsuit, Sam turns to her and instantly steam blasts out of his helmet.
