'Why would he bother with that? There's no way he'd uphold the deal! Besides, we have leverage so he won't do anything to Mana!'

'Shin...? Shin...? SHIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'
'AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'
The Knave holds her head, shaking it slightly.
Knave: 'Why now? Why now have these memories surfaced? I don't want to see them.'
???: "So this is where you were."
The Knave turns around and sees Sam standing there a few feet from her.
Sam: "What are you doing here all by yourself?"
Knave: "Hmm...clearing some thoughts."
Sam: "Hm...You know, you are a strange one. Out of all of the Spirits I have met, you are by far the strangest one. You radiate an aura that wants you to be mysterious. You've fought the Balladeer many times and haven't killed him, why?"
Knave: "It's not as simple as you think and you should know this. The Balladeer has many powers that can turn both this world and the normal world upside down with the flick of a wrist. Yes, I have power that can potentially rival him but if unleashed at its fullest, both the Neighboring World and your world will be vaporized."
Sam gasps with a bit of disbelief.
Sam: "Hm...tell me. Who are you really? If you want to help us, start by telling us who you are."
Knave doesn't say anything and forms a flaming chair behind her, sitting down and resting her head on her knuckles.
