It was a three-way showdown between Sam, Kurumi, and Kotori. Sam was just about ready to knock some heads while Kurumi was out to get Shido and Kotori was here to protect her adopted older brother. The three spirits stand in a circle, their weapons trained at each other. Sam exhales as his wrists open and advanced twin pistols come out and he grabs them, pointing them at Kotori and Kurumi.

Sam: 'Thank you Mother for this wonderful beautiful birthday gift.' "Well, we have a little Mexican standoff here."
Kurumi: "How about you all drop your weapons now."
Kotori: "Morely, how about you all escape with your dignity?"
Sam: "Sorry but that's not my cup of tea. We Spirits have our own sense of pride on the line but I have a mission and don't want any unnecessary casualties. This fight has already drawn enough blood and if any more will be spilled, there will be consequences."
Kotori grits her teeth while Kurumi smirks. Sam looks at both of them, awaiting which one will make the next move. All spirits grip their weapons tightly. Shido sits there, unsure of what to do.
The wind blew as the spirits stood still. The Kurumi clones look at the trio of spirits while one of them knocks Origami out. Kurumi's shadow extends and all of the clones retreat into it. All spirits take one step and then in the blink of an eye, all rush to each other, clashing their weapons together. Sam jumps back and shoots flaming bullets at Kurumi and Kotori, making them both dodge them.
Kurumi: "I like a little spiritual competition! <Zaphfkiel, Aleph!>"
Kurumi forms her clock and the first number's energy goes into her pistol, she shoots herself, and her speed increases, jumping straight at Kotori. Kotori blocks her musket swing and dodges a bullet from her weapon.
