Everyone wakes up the next day without any memory of the encounter between the Balladeer and the Knave, all they remember was stopping the satellites and sealing Natsumi. Kakavasha successfully dealt with Ellen and even managed to rip the crystal out of her body, unfortunately, she still survived because the crystal hadn't fully merged with her entire being, so she lives and is back as a human. The crystal is now safely secured in Ratatoskr's main HQ. Natsumi now lives with Shido and Kotori.
Vajra and his girls are currently relaxing in the apartment. Yoshino was drawing pictures with Rio, while Mayuri and Mukuro were lying on Vajra's shoulders and Rinne was making breakfast for everyone. Miku was performing for her fans and won't return for a bit. Vajra's phone rings and sees Kotori calling him.
Vajra: "Hello?"
Kotori: "Vajra, its urgent."
Vajra: " *sigh* seriously? Can't I get a break for once-"
Kotori: "Shido is missing!"
Vajra: "Come again?"
Kotori: "I can't track him! Last I heard, he was going to find Origami but suddenly his GPS went offline!"
Vajra: " Yare Yare daze...fine, I'll go look for him."
He hangs up and looks over to his girlfriends, sister, and daughter
Vajra: "Girls, I need you real quick. Shido's off the radar and Kotori wants to find him. Yoshino, Rio, stay with Natsumi at their house until we call you."
Rio: "Alright papa."
Yoshino: "Stay safe..."
Vajra leaves with Mukuro, Rinne, and Mayuri to Raizen High School, and as they pass by an electronic store, inside the shop is a little girl around Rio's age sitting on a bench with headphones on. Her hair was white and she had brown eyes, wearing a blue sweater and shorts.

The girl stands up, leaves the store, and silently follows them until she engulfs herself in light and takes off into the sky.
Meanwhile, Shido finds himself in a dark room, tied to a chair and handcuffed. It was filled with junk and only a skylight was present, the sun piercing through the glass.

He attempts to break his bindings but to no avail. He hears someone enter the room and sees Origami standing there with an emotionless expression, her usual face.
