Two days have passed since the Origami incident, everything was peaceful for the spirits. Vajra recently learned that the little girl named Izumi has been staying in Ratatoskr's HQ for some time now. Kotori informs everyone that they have been called to Ratatoskr's HQ for a very important meeting regarding the future. All of the spirits board the Fraxinus and head to the HQ where they meet Elliot, Karen, and Kakavasha.
Elliot: "Greetings everyone, my name is Elliot Woodman, I'm the founder of Ratatoskr along with my brother, Kakavasha. Allow me to extend my thankfulness and gratitude for assisting us with sealing the spirits, Shido Itsuka and Vajra Murasame, also known as SAM."
Vajra: "Thank you, Mr. Elliot, I want to protect the spirits with every fiber of my being."
Shido: "I too want to protect them. They deserve a chance to live peaceful lives."
Elliot: "Indeed. Now then, let us head inside, we have very much to discuss."
Karen wheels Elliot as everyone follows them inside the building. They go into a large faculty room, inside the room are the older Kurumi and Izumi, who are waiting for them.
Shido: "Kurumi?"
Kurumi: "Hehe...it's good to see you again...Shido."
Tohka: "Hold on, her tone is...different than the one we know."
Origami: "Not to mention, she looks older."
Kurumi: "Persepctive as always, Origami. Allow me to explain when Elliot informs you all. But I think you and Shido should speak with this little one."
Kurumi pats Izumi's head as she stares at Shido and Origami. The little girl forms a small smile.
Izumi: "Hi...Mom....Dad."
Shido: "H-Huh?!"
Origami: "M-Mom...?"
Elliot: "Alright, listen up. We have a major problem that needs to be addressed. I'm sure you all have had your encounters with a rogue male spirit known as The Balladeer, correct?"
Vajra: "Yeah, bastard's had us all pinned down without even making a single move. But one thing I don't get is how he's able to use everyone's angels except mine. The only one who wasn't affected by him was Izumi."
Elliot: "That is a mystery we can't solve yet, but the issue lies with his very existence. I hate to do this but he must be eliminated. His presence is a global threat."
Kotori: "He's that dangerous?!"
Kannazuki: "I knew he was powerful but I didn't think he would be at the level of a massive threat to mankind."
Kakavasha: "We have monitored him for some time but he keeps disappearing without a trace."
Karen turns off the lights and turns on a projector that shows the Balladeer.
