Ten-Oh Festival! Assault of an Evolution

With the deal made by Miku and Vajra, he and Shiori have to band everyone together to beat her at the festival. He's also a bit worried about DEM's wizards crashing the party so he would need to find people to distract them to focus on sealing Miku. He's motivated to defeat her in the festival with everyone at his side. Vajra and his classmates at Raizen, like Shiori, Tohka, Origami, Ai, Mai, and Mii agree on a band and Vajra would be the lead singer. He has a song in mind that they will all be performing and singing, though everyone was skeptical about his singing skills until he proved them wrong.

Vajra, in order to make DEM doesn't screw up the festival, tells Origami to handle them if she can and also inform Mana to intercept them. He also has someone he contacted to help out as well. He needs to be prepared for anything. The AST is commanderless as of the moment, with Origami being in charge of Ryouko's absence. So if he wants to ensure everything goes the way he wants it, he has to pay a visit.

In Tengu Hospital, we see Ryouko on her bed, having a large bandage on her right eye and casts on her legs and left arm stump. As soon as she reaches for the remote to her TV, the wind blows in her room and she sees the window is open. She raises an eyebrow but then she hears a voice.

Sam: "I see you survived. Not many people have a strong grip on life, your willpower is praiseworthy, for a human."

Ryouko turns to her right and sees Sam leaning on the wall, which freaks her out a bit.

Ryouko: "It's you..."

Sam: "We meet again, Commander Kusakabe. I see you're in quite the...situation. Losing multiple of your limbs must be drastically hard, especially with the job you do."

Ryouko: "Came back to finish the job?"

Sam: "No, I have no intention of killing you. Moreover, I need your help."

Ryouko: "I don't help spirits-"

Sam: "I'm not done. I know how much you don't like that failure Jessica Bailey, and how she's suddenly taken charge of everything. She plans to drag innocent lives into a battle for the sake of eliminating a spirit. And I know the AST doesn't involve citizens. The AST needs a strong commander, someone who can make the right decisions and good calls. That is why..."

Sam materializes a large briefcase and opens it, revealing a robotic eyeball and mechanical prosthetics.

Sam: "I am offering you a second chance."

Ryouko: "Where did you get those?!"

Sam: "Asgard Electronics. They work like miracles. Now then, in return for getting you back in the field of work, you will help me make sure Jessica doesn't fuck up the festival."

Ryouko: "Hm...fine then, but it doesn't mean we'll fully ally with you."

Sam: "Fine by me. Now then..."

Sam grabs a needle with an anesthetic in it.

Sam: "Hold still."

The festival day has started and everyone begins to gather at Tengu Square. Reine had Mukuro and Yoshino sit with her in the audience while Tohka, Shiori, and the Yamai twins were in maid outfits for a maid cafe. The same cowboy was also seen in the festival as he was waiting for the big event. Vajra notices that Origami is not with the group, which means she knows that DEM will attack and will intercept them with Mana. He knows all of this thanks to <Rasiel>.
