The little creature inside me rubbed its eyes in disbelief, because what was happening right now was beyond comprehension. This brazen woman walked in, petting my boyfriend like he was her chihuahua, and made gooey eyes at him! And she did it all in front of me on purpose! What audacity!
Victor froze, but only for a few seconds, then furrowed his brows and grimaced in disgust, which delighted me immensely. I barely restrained myself from giving her a triumphant look.
– I have more than enough of them – he spat through gritted teeth. – We have everything settled for now. I won't keep you. And for obvious reasons, I won't see you to the door. Goodbye. Perez, office – he directed at Manuel, who was still standing next to him.
He watched him walk reluctantly into the next room, then stayed behind with me and stepped closer.
– How's my Formula One driver doing? – he murmured as quietly as he could to the top of my head, grabbing me by the hips.
– Pretty good – I replied, smiling at his hand as it wandered to my butt. My butt, not that cynical nutcase's. – It drives nicely. I thought she didn't exist for you anymore – I asked, referring to the utterly unscrupulous Lena.
– Who? – Victor frowned. – Oh, her. Personally, she's lower than river sludge. But good money is on the horizon. I'll show her quality that'll surprise her.
The little creature inside me raised its eyebrows, and I did the same.
– Ambition won out? – I murmured, smiling half-heartedly.
– Earning well is enough for me – Victor replied in a dispassionate tone. – Sorry you had to wait. Perez didn't bother you too much, did he?
It was clearly about more than just money. It was about wounded pride and a chance for revenge, but I didn't say that out loud because, although it was plain as day, Victor would deny it. If it would give him satisfaction and her inappropriate behavior made him more nauseous than aroused, he could prove whatever he wanted to that woman.
– A bit – I said, fluttering my lashes flirtatiously at my knight to make him feel even more knightly. – But you saved me in time.
Victor sent me a blissful smile.
– My brave girl – he murmured, as happy as a schoolgirl before her first dance. – Wait a bit longer, and we'll zoom home together.
He gave me a quick kiss and disappeared behind the door, giving me a theatrical pained look beforehand.
So I sat back down on the couch and, lacking more interesting things to do, started browsing the news on the Internet.
I mindlessly scrolled for a few minutes until my smartphone pinged, announcing a message from Victor.
Victor: Perez is spouting some nonsense, but I can barely focus knowing you're right outside the door.
Paulina: Don't get distracted, you'll finish faster.
I smiled at the screen and went back to mindlessly browsing social media, but only for a minute, because another SMS appeared.
Victor: I'd take you on my desk right now.
I adjusted myself on the couch and crossed my legs before replying.
Paulina: Focus, devil.
Victor: Just the thought of it got me hard. Perez will think I like him
I smiled at the phone and squeezed my thighs tighter. My heart beat faster, and blood rushed to my clit, but I decided to keep a clear head.
Paulina: Just don't invite him to any threesomes
