He looked at me again, but the chocolate in his eyes had hardened to the max.

– Paula, please – he groaned in a pleading tone, giving me the look of a tired old man. – I'm exhausted. I can barely stand. We'll talk about this another time. Just come here to me.

He reached out to me and stepped close enough that if he wanted to, he could have embraced me.

The way he said it and the way he looked at me made me start to break down. A quiet voice in my head told me that Victor had been beaten up today, that he was in shock, and really, what harm would it do to wait for explanations just one more evening? But I quickly pulled myself together. If I was ever going to get any information out of him about the problems that were plaguing him, it was now, when he was exhausted and didn't have enough strength to build another wall between us.

– Sex is not the answer – I announced, leaning back slightly to let him know he wasn't going to get me off with just a quickie.

Victor hesitated for a moment, as if weighing the pros and cons of opening up to me again, and then a shadow of determination appeared in his eyes.

– It may not be, but it's what I need – he announced, reaching into my body without waiting for permission. – Just as you needed after your father died. Do you remember? We'll deal with the rest later. For now, let's just be animals.

While I was able to keep my cool before, the comment about sex, right after I found out that my father had left this world, tipped the scales in Victor's favour. I couldn't deny him closeness and comfort when he was feeling all shaky inside. Of course, I didn't know exactly what was going on in his head, but when he compared his current state with my behaviour that day, I could imagine what he was feeling. Besides, he was looking at me with those pleading, chocolate–coloured eyes of a lost boy, aged by the baggage of difficult experiences.

So I put my hand on his cheek and let his face come closer to mine. When he was close enough, I parted my lips and allowed my lover's tongue to penetrate and take complete possession of them. He sat down beside me and began to kiss me with such commitment as if his life depended on it. He was panting harder and harder with each kiss. Without thinking, I sat on his lap and clung to him with my whole body, rubbing against his crotch, to which he responded with a low, animal murmur and clung even tighter with his arms.

When I felt his erection growing beneath me, I pulled my lips away from his mouth and dropped to the floor so that I was between his legs. I unwrapped the towel and slowly slid his already swollen member into my mouth, sucking the tip alternately with circular movements of my tongue around the base of the glans.

– Oooh Paula... – he moaned and put his hand in my hair, dictating the rhythm he wanted me to move in, then moved his hips further towards me.

I enjoyed every part of his body I could touch. I slowly tightened and relaxed my lips around his member as he plunged into me again and again. I quickened my pace, wanting to bring him to the peak of pleasure, but before I could, we were interrupted by his vibrating phone.

Vic glanced at the display of the smartphone, then put his hand on my head, stopping me from caressing him any further.

– Wait a minute – he mumbled, giving me a flirtatious smile and running his thumb over my lower lip before standing up, holding the phone in one hand and stroking his penis with the other. – Yes? – He growled hoarsely into the receiver.

He walked out into the corridor and, for want of a better idea, I picked myself up from the floor. I lay down on the bed on Victor's left side and began to wander my eyes mindlessly through the curtains. After examining them carefully, I began to count the lumps of dust on the carpet, and just as I was analysing the decorative stitching on the bedspread, Vic came back into the bedroom.
