I didn't even bother to make a trip to the Gryffindor dormitories to unpack. I took the nearest Floo straight away to the Defence Against the Dark Arts Classroom location, then walked down the couple flights of stairs to find myself before a familiar, rather exquisite and antique clock.

Before going in, I cast an appearance spell to change my garment. This procedure was one of the things that became natural for me during last year: I always looked forward to dressing up accordingly.

With that said, I replaced my traditional tartan Gryffindor uniform with my Crimson Motley Garb and the Majestic School Robe. I believed those to be a perfect match for the more casual vibe of the Undercroft.

I heard steps immediately as I walked in.

"Carolyn, you came!"

"Well, you called!"

Sebastian sprinted to my encounter, embracing me in the tightest hug, slightly pulling me off the ground. My whole body was taken with exhilaration, but also surprise: I didn't recall ever being so physically close to him last year, and it felt good. He smelled good.

He put me down, took a step back, and his eyes darted up and down.

"I am thrilled to see you, Morgan," he finally spoke with a charming smile, eyes glistening. "Always dressing up for the occasion, I see. Though I do miss seeing you in battle attire."

I also took a few moments to take a good look at him.

He was definitely taller. I recalled we had similar heights, and well, it was not the case anymore...

His wavy and always messy brown hair looked neater somehow - he might have had a haircut, just a tad shorter. Loose strands were pending charmingly over his forehead, as always.

And then, there was his sparkling freckled face that I couldn't take my eyes off. He looked as gorgeous as I remembered. Definitely older, but still, behind those broad shoulders and deeper voice, there still were the beaming brown eyes and playful smile. It was like he didn't change at all.

"If I didn't know you so well, Morgan, I would suspect that you are casting numerous non-verbal curses at me right now, staring that way," he cackled with that old mischievous smile again. "Merlin, I am hilarious," he snorted, still laughing at himself.

"Carolyn, dear, I welcome you once again to the Undercroft," Ominis joined the conversation. "I hope you approve of the changes I made to this room."

I had been there for a while already, but with my gaze taking in the pleasant view of the brunette man before me, I indeed hadn't even noticed the surroundings yet.

The hall was still dim, with the same enigmatic atmosphere, but Ominis did put together a whole new setting. To begin with, a fireplace was conjured by the opposite wall of Isidora's triptych, and a set of dark leather armchairs were placed on each side of a dark sofa.
