Hey, friends!
Story time: My mom has an Elvis calendar in our kitchen. So one night, I'm rummaging through the fridge and I'm so tired that I'm not paying attention—only to whatever was in the fridge. Anyway, I shut the fridge with a can of Pepsi in my hand and I come face to face with Elvis (the picture on the calendar)! But of course, being so tired—I thought that Elvis was in my kitchen!

That night, as Athena was sound asleep, she felt a movement next to her side. She opened her eyes to see Michael, barely able to make out his silhouette in the dark room, "Mikey?"
Michael froze, as if he had been caught doing something he shouldn't have, "Yeah, baby?"
"Why are you up? You should be sleeping," she whispered, feeling a little worried.
"Um....I'm, uh....taking care of something," he whispered.
"Oh..." Athena said, understanding his hesitation, "It's okay. You know, it's completely normal to feel anxious after..." she trailed off, not wanting to bring up the awkward situation they had just been through.
Michael sighed, shaking his head, "It's not that, baby girl."
Athena blushed at the nickname he had just called her, "Why do you call me that?"
"You mean 'baby girl'?" Michael asked, "It's just a term of endearment, sweetheart. Nothing more than that."
"I can't see," Athena said, reaching over for the lamp.
Michael caught her arm and pulled her back down before she could get to it, "No lights."
"Please," she protested, trying to wiggle free, "I can't see anything."
"Shhh," he hushed, "It's okay. I promise it'll be over soon."
Athena hesitated for a moment, unsure of whether to trust him, but then she closed her eyes and let him continue.
Minutes passed, and then she heard a low groan.
"Was that you?" Athena whispered.
Michael sighed, "I'm sorry, baby. It's just...it's been a long day."
Athena attempted to adjust herself in the dark, trying to find some comfort.
"Is everything okay?" Michael asked, morphing his voice into a soothing tone.
"I can't see," Athena said quietly, "What are you doing?"
"Shhh," he whispered, one of his hands soothingly running over her hip while his other continued what he was doing, "It's okay."
