"Javon," Michael hissed, the realization dawning on him, "When I find him, he's gonna answer to my fury."

Unfortunately for Javon, he just so happened to walk in the room at the wrong time, "Athena, I have your tour schedule and setlists ready. I'm so excited!" he smiled, being that he was her Head of Security, it meant he got to go on tour with her.

"Javon, why didn't you tell me?" Michael roared, his eyes flashing with fury.

Javon frowned, taken aback by the outburst, "I didn't think it was necessary to inform you, sir. After all, you were busy with your own career—recording your album and stuff, right?"

Michael clenched his fists, his anger boiling over, "Don't you ever assume things about me without discussing them first! It's reckless and irresponsible!"

Athena sighed, placing a hand on his arm, "Michael, you know I didn't mean it like that. Javon's trying to help me, and he thought it would be easier for you to focus on your own music without worrying about my tour."

"That's no excuse!" Michael retorted, accidently shaking off her hand as he crossed his arms, "You're my wife, and I have every right to know where you're going and what you're doing. What if something happened to you while you were gallivanting around the world? Would I even know?"

Resisting the urge to roll her eyes, Athena simply walked away. She needed to pack. She stopped at the top of the stairs, realizing that in order to pack, she would have to go into the room she shared with Michael and not the spare room—so she closed her eyes and sighed before walking into their shared bedroom for the first time in four weeks.

"Technically it's not gallivanting if she's touring," Javon muttered.

Michael gave Javon one last annoyed glare before following Athena up the stairs, his anger slowly simmering down. He knew he had to let her go on tour without protest—it was part of Athena's life.....and his too. Michael knew they were major stars in the industry, and that this was bound to happen eventually. But it was the first time that one of them was leaving the other for an extended period of time since they got married.

As Athena entered the room she shared with her husband, she was immediately hit with the scent of his cologne and his aftershave. It was a smell that made her heart ache with longing, and she couldn't help but inhale deeply, savoring the familiar scent.

She felt tears welling up in her eyes—she missed being in his arms at night, and any time of the day she wanted to be there. She missed being able to smell him whenever she wanted. She missed his voice. She missed showering with him. She missed giving him massages. She missed running her fingers through his hair. She missed curling up with him on the couch to watch a movie. She missed talking to him. She missed holding his hand. She missed feeling his body next to hers. She missed him.
