When Michael woke up that day, he found himself alone in the bed and realized that Athena must've left and didn't want to wake him up. Of course, he was disappointed, but he was also appreciative that she cared about him getting rest even though leaving without a hug and kiss must've been hard for her.

As he sat up in bed, he noticed Athena's sweatshirt lying there. He picked it up and got an immediate whiff of her perfume—that was when he realized that she had left this sweatshirt there and sprayed her perfume on it on purpose.

He couldn't help but smile, knowing that Athena had left him a piece of herself, a tangible reminder of her presence. He gently squeezed the sweatshirt, imagining her holding it close to her body, the scent of the perfume deeply ingrained in the fabric.

"I miss you already, baby," he said aloud to the empty room, his voice echoing, "But I'll be waiting for you when you get back."

He held the fabric close to his chest and headed to the kitchen to make himself some coffee. As he poured water into the machine, he heard his phone ring on the other side of the room.

"Hello?" He answered, taking a sip of his coffee. "This is Michael. How may I help you?"

"Hey, babe. It's Lisa Marie. I'm in a bit of a pickle. I need some money real quick. Can you help me out?"

"Lisa Marie?" Michael rolled his eyes, "I really need to change my number. What the hell? Stop calling me 'babe'! I'm not your baby, and I sure as hell am not your bank."

Lisa Marie sighed on the other end of the line, "Come on, Michael. We were married once. Can't you do me this one favor?"

"You cheated on me, Lisa Marie. You messed it up for yourself. I don't owe you anything," Michael replied firmly.

"Please, Michael, I'm desperate!" Lisa Marie pleaded.

Michael's tone hardened, "Desperate times call for desperate measures. Figure it out on your own."

"But—please?!" Lisa Marie pleaded, "I'll do anything! What do you want? Sex?"

"Did you really just suggest me cheating on Athena?" Michael asked, incredulous.

Lisa Marie hesitated before answering, "Well, I figured.....you know, she's on tour! She would never know!"

"I may have been married to you once, but after divorcing you I got a woman so much better than you, and I wouldn't cheat on her, even if she was out of the country," Michael said, his voice thick with anger, "She is the love of my life. I wouldn't cheat on her even if she were dead. There is no one for me but her. Now get out of my life, Lisa Marie. Stay away from me and my family. And stay away from my wife. This conversation is over. And we have been over for a long time, so.....maybe go marry Liam," Michael hung up the phone before she could say any more, "Bill!" he called for his Head of Security.
