The clock chimes from the castle building.
Puss: "Boss! The Happily Ever After Potion!"
Shrek: "Midnight! Fiona, is this what you want? To be this way forever?"
Fiona: "What?"
Shrek: "Because if you kiss me now, we can stay like this."
Fiona: "You'd do that? For me?"
Shrek: "Yes."
Fiona looks back at King Harold and Queen Lillian, then back to Shrek.
Fiona: "I want what any princess wants. To live happily ever after..."
Shrek leans in to kiss Fiona, but she gently stops him with her hand.
Fiona: "...with the ogre I married."
Puss: "Whatever happens, I must not cry! You cannot make me cry!"
Puss quietly cries and the clock bells ring. Shrek and Fiona hold each other's hands as they are engulfed in a magical aura and float into the air. The same happens to Donkey, Lillo and Prince Charming. Donkey begins to transform back into his donkey self.
Donkey: "No. No, no. Aaah! Ow. Oh, no."
He is lowered back to the ground. So are Shrek and Fiona, who are both now ogres. Lillo and Prince Charming also turn back to themselves, Lillo being a cervitaur and Prince Charming being a human again. Donkey sighs.
Shrek: "*laughs* Hey. You still look like a noble steed to me."
Fiona: "*giggles* Now, where were we?"
Shrek: "Oh. I remember."
Shrek leans Fiona over and they kiss. The crowd claps as Lillo and Prince Charming watch.
Pierce: "Pierce."
Lillo: "Hmm?"
Pierce: "My actual first name is actually Pierce. My mother changed it so it would sound more 'handsome,' for the fake Prince Charming."
Lillo: "Well... I think your name a beautiful name."
He smiles at Lillo before he places the flower in his hair and holds him closer.
Pierce: "It's nothing compared to how beautiful you are. And I have been wanting to hold you close after we met."
Lillo giggles a bit before the two share a kiss.
