Shuichi's POV (3rd person):
Some days already passed by since Kokichi came to this school, Shuichi thought it would become interesting, but it quickly got boring..
Everyday was the same as always, he'd wake up, go to school, space out in breaks and classes, go back home, stay up late, and sleep.
Truly boring days, but he couldn't do anything about it. He didn't have friends to talk with, he pretty much only talks to his parents since they're the only nice people talking to him in his petty life.
Shuichi usually overhears people's conversations about him being weird, but he couldn't care less, he was used to be juged. <<Be yourself>> they say, but when you are, people judge you and say that you're crazy, that's exactly why Shuichi is alone, he was being himself and people thought that it was weird, his 'friends' just ended up abandonning him.
After some days, Shuichi noticed the new student, Kokichi give him some worried glances, but everytime he did, all of his friends dragged him somewhere else, Shuichi didn't really mind about that, he always was used to be alone, and maybe... he'll always be alone for the rest of his life, but again, he didn't mind. He'd rather be alone than be betrayed again.
Shuichi walked towards the library, it was the only place where he could feel comfort except for his home and... his parents' embraces. He liked reading because some of the books he reads are about characters with the same situation as him, the thing that he didn't like was the fact that the character always ends up with someone, weither it was a lover or a friend. It was just unrealistic to him, he knew he would never have a friend, and he knew he would never find true love.
True love is only in books or movies, Shuichi already got countless heartbreaks, from both boys and girls, the boys he liked made fun of him and called him 'gay' and that upsets him, because he's not gay, he's bisexual, but he gave up explaining at this point. And the girls were either already with someone or laughed at his face before calling him an ugly wimp. So Shuichi just gave up with love, everytime he would fall for someone he'd just deny it and move on.
Suddently, chatters cut him off of his train of thoughts.
"Hey Kokichi! Watcha doing in the library?" A blonde classmate guy asked to Kokichi, who was looking at the books.
Kokichi turned towards the classmate and smiled. "I just want to read a little, nothing much." The blonde guy rose his eyebrow and shrugged before another classmate arrived, this time a brunette.
"C'mon! Come with us, reading is boring." The brunette spoke up, putting a hand on Kokichi's shoulder. "Let's flirt with some girls! You might even have a chance to-"
Kokichi stared at him with a disgusted face. "Ew- I mean, no thank you, I'm not the playboy type." he said, quickly changing his face to a normal one as he shook his hand in front of himself in a dismissive gesture.
"Your loss, there's really big boo-" The brunette was cut off by Kokichi. "Alright, alright, just go, it's a library not a dirty talk room." The other laughed like a hyiena as he was getting dragged out by his blonde friend.
Kokichi sighed in relief before turning around, seeing Shuichi, but before he could go and talk to him, the school bell cuts him out. He sighed and left the library to head to class, Shuichi did that aswell after some seconds of packing his things up.
Time for some boring lesson.
