Kokichi's POV (3rd person):
It was the next day since Shuichi saw those suspicious people. Kokichi left when Shuichi's parents arrived. but right before he did, he promised Shuichi that he'd go to school with him to make sure he was safe.
So here he was, knocking on the door and waiting. After a few minutes, the door gently creaked open as Shuichi could be seen peeking through. The door only fully opened once Shuichi recognized his love interest at the door and quickly exited the house, making sure to close it before hugging Kokichi as a greeting.
"Hi Kokichi! Thanks for wanting to go to school with me." Shuichi says with a relieved smile. Kokichi smiled back as he spoke up. "No problem Shumai! I would do anything to make sure you're safe!"
"Shumai?" Shuichi repeated with an amused smile, chuckling softly. Kokichi was happy to see Shuichi happy after what happened yesterday. "Yup, Shumai! it's your new nickname!"
"I better find one for you then." Shuichi responds as he rustled Kokichi's hair teasingly, earning a grumpy look from the shorter boy.
Shuichi laughed at this, and soon, Kokichi joined him.
after endless minutes of laughing, Kokichi realised that they were going to be late and stopped laughing while grabbing Shuichi's hand.
"Oh my god we're gonna be late Shumai!" And with that, Kokichi started dragging Shuichi quickly to the school.
Shuichi did his best to follow as he almost tripped the whole time. "K-Kokichi slow down!"
Kokichi slowed down a bit, letting Shuichi keep up as they both ran to the school.
They both then finally arrived, they stopped at the courtyard and started panting from exaustion.
"You... huff- How do you run so fast?" Shuichi asked in disbelief between his pants, earning an exausted giggle from Kokichi.
"My brother always makes me work out when he has the opportunity, that's kinda annoying but also useful to be honnest. I should invite you over to let you meet him one day. He's very nice!" Kokichi explains, making Shuichi look at him curiously.
"You didn't tell me you had a brother." Shuichi says before continuing. "Then again, we just met weeks ago."
"Yeah, my bad, I also have a sister by the way, but you wouldn't be able to meet her. She's doing a tour in France." Kokichi explains. Shuichi's eyes widened at that.
"A tour in France?? But we're in Japan, how did she afford that?! Wait, wait a tour? is your sister famous or something?" Kokichi giggled at Shuichi's reaction and nodded.
"Yeah, she's quite a famous musician." Shuichi's curiousity rose even more as he hear that.
"Really? What does she play?" He asked.
"She plays the vi-"
*DING DONG BONG BING*
"Ah, dang it granpa, we have to go to class." Kokichi sighed and shrugged, going to class with Shuichi.
And so class started, everything was going as always except the glares Shuichi recieves from their classmates. They sure didn't forget about what happened last time with the fight.
Apparently, Shuichi had broke the other guy's nose. That's why everyone was pissed at Shuichi.
Kokichi glared back at the classmates, making them look away from Shuichi as Kokichi disctretly held the taller boy's hand under the table to comfort him.
