Kokichi's POV (3rd person):
Kokichi did his best to carry Shuichi to the nurse's office. As soon as he reached the location, he was welcomed by the nurse's worried glance at Shuichi as Kokichi laid Shuichi down on the infirmary bed.
"O-oh gosh! Who did this to him?" The nurse exclaimed, rushing to the student worriedly while she looked at all of his injuries.
"It's Yomi again. I saw him exit the toilets where I found Shuichi and his knuckles were bloody." Kokichi explained, earning a gasp from the nurse.
"I will report this to the school's director, but first, I'll heal him. You can sit down while I do that." The nurse says, Kokichi nodded and sat while watching Shuichi get healed.
The nurse winced at every pieces of shattered mirror she pulled out of Shuichi's arm, making sure to be careful and not make the injury worse.
She then took care of Shuichi's injuries, cleaning them up before bandaging them. Once she was finished, the nurse rushed to her phone and called the director.
Meanwhile, Kokichi scooted his chair closer to the bed and held Shuichi's hand while looking at him with a sad and worried look, leaning in to whisper something to the unconcious boy.
"Shuichi... I'm here with you, please wake up!.."
~A few hours later~
Kokichi was still looking after Shuichi, cupping one of the boy's cheeks with one hand and caressing it with his thumb.
Soon, Shuichi slowly opened his eyes, feeling the tender touch on his cheek as he looked up at Kokichi.
"Koki?..." Kokichi looked into Shuichi's eyes as he heard him call for him, a hopeful smile appearing on the shorter's face as he saw Shuichi looking at him before hugging Shuichi. Careful to not hurt him.
"Shumai! oh gosh you're finally awake...!" Shuichi hugged back, holding the smaller one's frame in his arms before burrying his face onto Kokichi's shoulder as sobs started being heard from the bluenette.
"...Shuichi?..." Kokichi called out, pulling away and cupping Shuichi's cheeks to look at his teary eyes. Kokichi also noticed that he was trembling.
"I-I was so scared!... he... he didn't stop... I thought he was gonna beat me up to death..." Shuichi explained between his sobs, Kokichi looked at him with an empathic look.
"Shuichi... look at me." Kokichi says softly. Shuichi obeyed, looking into Kokichi's eyes, meeting his soothing amethyst eyes.
"I'm here now, for now on, we'll stay together and I'll make sure you're okay. Alright?" Shuichi nodded at Kokichi's words, he was less shaky now and he hugged Kokichi more tightly.
Kokichi hugged back as tightly as Shuichi was hugging him.
"Kokichi..." Shuichi called, getting Kokichi's attention.
"Yes, Shuichi?" Kokichi asked, looking at Shuichi.
"I want to be stronger." The taller stated in a determined tone.
"Really?" Kokichi asked, earning a nod from Shuichi. "I know who could help, but you'll have to wait until you recover from... earlier."
"Yeah, I know. Thank you." Shuichi smiled at Kokichi before kissing his forehead. Making the shorter blush to this.
"I'll always help you, Shumai."
