(So don't be too lost guys, since it's Kokichi's POV he still considers Shuichi's uncle and aunt as Shuichi's parents since he doesn't know anything)
Kokichi's POV (3rd person):
Kokichi was sitting on the couch, scrolling on his phone as he was home alone. Suddently, somebody knocked on the door, pulling Kokichi out of his presonal bubble.
Kokichi sighed, got up from the couch and walked towards the door before opening it, there he saw Shuichi's parents wearing a worried look on their faces.
"Oh good evening! Do you both need something? If you're looking for Shuichi, I didn't see him the whole time." The short boy spoke up, noticing that Shuichi's mother was holding the cap that the bluenette usually always wears. Kokichi never saw Shuichi separate from his cap, the latter even explained that it helped him feeling a bit safer around strangers to wear it and be able to hide from others' potential judging glares.
"We know that, don't worry..." Shuichi's father spoke up as he lays one hand onto the purple haired boy's shoulder with a serious looking expression. Just by seeing how the older man behaved, Kokichi guessed that something bad was going on.
"What's happening?" Kokichi asked in pure curiousity, but he was mostly worried that something might have happened to his beloved boyfriend.
"It's about Shuichi..." Shuichi's father started, letting those words sink in to let Kokichi prepare for what he was about to hear. Those words were the ones he didn't want to hear, but Kokichi decided to let the other continue, hoping that it was a false alarm.
"He got taken away by-"
"He got kidnapped?!" Kokichi explained in despair, starting to panic before the older man shook Kokichi to reality a little bit before he gets too far in assuptions.
"No, let me explain." With that, the man started to explain everything that Kokichi had to know.
"So you're not actually his real parents and his actual parents took him back..?" Kokichi repeats, doing his best to process everything.
"Yes, you had to know that since you're his boyfriend. And his parents are highly homophobic, if they find out about your relationship with him, I don't know what exactly they'll do but I'm sure that it's not gonna be pretty. So please be careful, I don't want any of you two hurt." Kokichi's eyes widened at those words, were those parents abusive?!
"W-wait so they're abusive?! We gotta report them to the police!"
"If I could, I would have done that since the beginning, but we don't have enough proof. They won't believe us."
Kokichi swore under his breath, this was going to be more complicated than he thought, but he will do anything to save his man.
Shuichi's aunt then stepped forward and gave Kokichi Shuichi's cap. "In the meantime, keep his cap to give it back to him once you see him again in your highschool." She says with a soft smile full of empathy.
"We'll do everything in our power to get him out of that toxic household, we promise." Kokichi smiled at the woman's words.
"Thank you, miss-"
"Please, call me Ani." She cuts Kokichi off, still smiling kindly.
"And you can call me Yakou" Shuichi's uncle interferred, smiling aswell.
Kokichi wasn't really in the mood to smile after those news but still, he nodded gratefully and gave them a small smile. "Thank you, Yakou and Ani."
After Kokichi said that, the couple walked away. Kokichi closed the door and leaned his back against it while hugging Shuichi's cap.
He had to find a plan to help Yakou and Ani to get more proofs, and that's what he's gonna do, Kokichi had the idea to use an audio recorder and maybe also a screen recorder everytime he gets a call from Shuichi to catch any important informations that slip by, he was also planning to ask Shuichi to hide cameras all around the house in case his parents hit him.
The sly short boy took his phone out and started messaging Shuichi.
Shumai <3: (💜=Kokichi / 💙=Shuichi)
💜: Shumai! your uncle and your aunt explained everything to me
are you okay??
💙: Yeah we can say that... They said that I'll be having piano lessons without even asking me for my opinion
💜: They're forcing you? Why??
💙: I just learned that I have a sister who sings and they want me to make a musical duo with her or something... I really don't want to, I never wanted to play any instruments before! ugh.. I wanted to atleast be a journalist or a detective, not a pianist
💜: I got an idea to get you out of here: you have to buy cameras and put them all around the house for any proofs of them mistreating you and then if you have some proofs, send them to me so that we can report those assholes for anything bad that they did
💙: You're gonna do all that for me?
💜: Of course babe! I've got you, just do your best with collecting proofs
I believe in you! <3
💙: I believe in you too, good luck, love you!
💜: Good luck, I love you too!

Kokichi truly hoped that his plan would work, but at this point, he would do anything to get Shuichi back, even if he has to lie or to make high risks to do that.
"I'll save you Shuichi, now let's check on internet if I can find informations about his sister, she must have been forced to sing aswell, it could be good informations to report those assholes to the police, I can also get informations about them directly, I'm glad that I got Yakou's phone number since the day where there was those crazy stalkers creeping out my poor Shumai."
Kokichi then messaged Yakou, changing the name of his contact from 'Shuichi's dad' to 'Yakou (Shumai's uncle)' on the way before asking Yakou the name of Shuichi's parents and possibly his sister too.
Yakou explained to Kokichi that Shuichi's parents were Akino and Shiro Saihara, he didn't know Shuichi's sister's name since he wasn't in touch with the two parents after they pretty much abandonned Shuichi in their care, so he didn't even know that they got a second child.
Kokichi thanked his lover's uncle before going to the internet, searching 'Akino Saihara and Shiro Saihara' and to his surprise, there was a lot of results. Apparently they were famous actors who acted in countless movies together. The articles did say that they had a daughter but they kept her anonymous for privacy, they only gave her idol name which is 'Saiga-Yu'. Kokichi even tried to see if there was anything about Shuichi but there was nothing, it even says that Shuichi's parents only had one child; Saiga-Yu. Kokichi almost felt bad for Shuichi about this, they most literally replaced him with his sister and that made him wonder why they wanted Shuichi back now.
Kokichi then started searching things about that Saiga-Yu. It said that she was born in February 2nd, one year after Shuichi, which prooved Kokichi about the fact that Shuichi literally got replaced if she was born after him. All of that was messed up as fuck...
The artices also said that she was currently in England for more studies about her career. Kokichi noted everything else he found down in a notebook he could use and soon rushed to the TV, wanting to check if there was anything interesting that could be linked in here.
He took the remote and turned the TV on, switching between channels for a little while.
Soon, Shuichi's face on TV made Kokichi stop and watched what was happening in this channel.
It was Shuichi's parents dragging Shuichi with them among all of the paparazzis, Shuichi clearly looked uncomfortable and tried his best to hide his face, but of course it was hard since he didn't have his cap on and the flashes were everywhere meanwhile some journalists shoved microphones near Shuichi's face, which overwhelmed him. Kokichi's eyes widened at the sight, the parents didn't even care about Shuichi, they just answered to questions and pulled Shuichi back towards them whenever the poor boy tried to leave.
Kokichi knew that it wouldn't take long for Shuichi to faint from being overwhelmed like that, he just wanted to walk through the screen and comfort him, he even considered to just run for it and go to the place, but it'll be too crowded, he's gonna end up lost and... it's a bit too far to go there running.
And soon enough, Shuichi gave in and fainted, shocking everyone, even his parents. Kokichi scoffed at his parent's ignorance on everything about Shuichi, one day when he'll meet those two in person, he'll give them a good punch in the face.
Kokichi watched the screen, powerless as he saw Kokichi being carried away from the crowd by some security guards who tried to help him regain conciousness.
Kokichi furrowed his brows at this situation and swore to himself that he'll get Shuichi out of that toxic household his 'parents' took him to.
