Énama turns around and faces his interlocutor who has remained clinging to his lips waiting impatiently for his next words.

"However, this situation suits me and make my moves easier. Since they are unable to enjoy what they have received without any effort, I will be happy to teach them what they could have become." Énama said with a bloodthirsty smile.

"No one will blame you for being ruthless. Even an animal has enough intelligence to protect what is important to it." Said the guard.

Was it referring to my forgotten childhood memories or the accident two years ago that I barely remembered? I couldn't believe my ears. Énama, he was really not on my side. I never had a friend. Was he behind my parents' accident? Mine?

My mind is turned upside down. My thoughts are mixed. I see images of the two incidents that occurred in my past and I have a sharp migraine and dizziness. I lean on the edge of the door of Énama's office. At that moment, I come back to myself and I remember that the current situation is not favorable to me. However, my head is spinning.

Enama looks towards the door, attracted by the noise I have just made. The guard also turns around and the two face me. My eyes meet those of Enama and I see no friendly emotion but rather limitless cruelty. I don't recognize the person I've always lived with. Énama, who was like a brother to me, a son to my parents, looks at me like a predator in front of a prey on which he is about to pounce. I understand very quickly the situation I find myself in. In my own property, in my laboratory, I had become the prey. However, migraines and dizziness do not give the impression of wanting to stop.

"Bindzi is you. I was just looking for you. Would you like ...'' Énama said.

At that moment, my survival instinct takes over.

"I have to escape. I can look for answers later." I say to myself.

Unfortunately, I just spent too much time thinking. Without even bothering to listen to what Énama is trying to tell me, I turn around and decide to get away from these two as quickly as possible. I lean on the door and take the first step, then on the wall and drag myself with difficulty. Finally, I grit my teeth to suppress the pain and dizziness and I rush into the corridor at full speed.

However, the guards have spotted me and I am clearly their priority target. With unrivalled elegance, I weave between the guards. It's really good to know how to do what I do. Some skills can come in handy when you don't expect them. As if past events had just served to prepare us for this moment. A moment in a life that reveals the meaning of a controversial past.

I walk through the corridors at lightning speed and open the door that leads to the stairs. I slide down the ramp, avoiding the full-armored guards who are trying to block my way. Realizing that my method will not work a second time, I hold on to the outer edge of the ramp and dive towards the opposite ramp under the stunned gaze of the guards. I hang on to the railing and repeat the action.

"Stop him." A guard said.

"This bastard looks like a monkey." Said another.

"How does he do that?" Asks another guard who tries to grab me by the hands as I cling to the railing but fails.

I jump and land in a hallway on the ground floor where my office is located. I see a few guards rushing towards me and I wonder how many guards Enama could have hired with my family's funds to catch me. At this moment, I regret having given so much freedom to this traitor who is using the resources of the Emana family, of my family to cause us harm. However, this is not the time for lamentation, much less for retribution. For the moment, the most important thing is to get out of the clutches of Enama.

At that moment, I realize that the headaches and dizziness that had assailed me have completely disappeared and have been replaced by a clarity and vividness that had been unknown to me until then.

"I don't recognize my body. This strength, this speed, this clarity of mind. It's astounding. It seems like something has awakened in me."

I take advantage of this rush of energy and rush towards the guards who seem to be running slowly. I get closer to them and I jump on the wall, I take three steps then I jump on the opposite wall where I land on all fours then, I jump towards the guards who are blocking the path and I bump violently against the one placed in the center. I feel the violent impact and the resistance that is far from normal.

"These guards are far stronger than normal humans. What's really going on here?"

In my normal state, very few people can beat me in a showdown. At this moment I feel several times stronger than usual but they manage to resist the impact.

"I thought about using this stampede to get rid of Enama and his guards, but I think it's best to get out of here and ask for help."

With great difficulty, I find myself in front of the door of my office. I place my hand on the biometric sensor and it opens. Finally in my office, I lock it and lean against the door. I can finally breathe. My office is fortified, so it's not easy for someone to break in. My family is wealthy, so this kind of security is necessary to prepare for all eventualities. However, after the last's events, I have the strange feeling that this will not be enough to stop my pursuers.

Without delay, my concerns turn out to be well-founded. I hear a loud noise coming from the door. The impact was so violent that it slightly shook the building. Being leaning against the door, the impact pushes me forward. I stagger for a few steps and finally stabilize myself.

"It's insane. This office is made to withstand a bomb attack. What has enough force to shake it so much?''

I move closer to the table at the back of the desk and move the chair back. I put my hand on the table, which turns out to be an interactive table. The table lights up and analyzes the imprint of my hand, then the vascularization and finally the shape of the skeleton of my hand. Once these steps have been validated, a prompt inviting me to enter the password is displayed and I enter a password. Once the password has been validated, the table displays a message inviting me to move back one meter. Aware of what is to come, I step back and watch the show with anticipation.

The table and the floor underneath, which turns out to be a massive sheet of metal alloy more than thirty centimeters thick, lift up and slide forward, revealing steps to a basement. I go into the basement and put my hand on a control panel, which starts the process of locking the hatch.

As the hatch closes, I hear louder and louder noises coming from my office.

"The door will not hold much longer. Énama, I'll see you again soon. For now, I'm going to discover the secrets of these catacombs."

Ina quiet, dark office, the trapdoor is slowly closing.
