As the fight between Bindzi and the beast rages on, Ama, who is at the entrance to the underground chamber, resists the urge to intervene with all her might. When she sees Bindzi preparing his last move, Ama rushes towards him but a stone hand grabs her wrist before she even takes a step.
''No.'' Says the beast that accompanies him. "Intervening now will only serve to trample on his determination."
Ama, unmoved by these words, tries to free her hand with all her might, but does not achieve the expected result.
"Why are you so agitated? Wasn't your goal to let him experience the world of masters and beasts?" Says the beast who is determined to see this clash continue unobstructed.
"I command you to let go of me." Ama said with a hint of anger.
"We've never had this type of relationship." Said the beast. "I only obey orders that I accept."
''If something happens to him...'' Said Ama, who understood that she would not have the last word.
"Trust this man a little more." Said the beast "Even I'm not sure I'll survive this attack he's preparing."
The clash continues and the beast, with its wings, covers Ama and protects her from the rocks falling from the ceiling. Once calm returns, the beast straightens up and spreads its wings, propelling the rocks on all sides. Ama rushes to Bindzi who has collapsed after giving his all. The beast that accompanies her follows her closely. She inspects Bindzi and realizes that he is just sleeping.
"This is the second time I've found you in this state." Ama said relaxed.
She looks up and looks at the beast that is not far from Bindzi. It is injured but its life is not in danger. The hostility and bloodlust that emanated from that beast moments before have completely disappeared.
"It looks like he has freed you from the grip of darkness." Comments on the stone beast that accompanies Ama.
"After all this time, I finally regain my freedom." Said the beast.
Ama looks at this beast carefully. As a master, she too is fascinated by this world. A specimen like the one in front of her was rarely seen so closely.
"According to the Mvé bestiary, you must be a traveling reptilian tiger, an evolved version of the traveling reptilian cat." Ama comments. ''It looks the same as twenty years ago...''
The beast looks at Ama and the beast that accompanies her. Being at least as intelligent as a human, it understands that it is in its interest to cooperate in this situation.
''...'' The beast looks at Ama in silence.
Ama looks at the beast that accompanies her. Realizing what it is thinking, she slowly moves away from Bindzi and the traveling reptilian tiger.
"What did this Mvé clan have to give us random names?" Ask the beast who walks behind Ama with heavy steps.
"Don't you want to know what name they gave to your species?" Ama asks, trying to arouse curiosity.
Ama turns around and looks at the stone eyes of the beast following her. It doesn't say a word, but curiosity is palpable on its face.
''The Celestial Mandrillus Sphinx or the Celestial Sphinx.'' Ama said.
''Hum...'' Says the Celestial Sphinx before disappearing into a tunnel accompanied by Ama.
