I know that these unknown beasts are more robust and stronger than I am, but they recognized my determination and decided to follow me, even to serve me. I don't really understand what is going on, but I know that I have to move towards this bottomless darkness to impose my will on him.

"Imposing my will on it. What an attractive idea." I say to myself as I imagine the implications of this ability. "Do I really have this ability? Controlling these beasts... It could give me an advantage against Énama."

As if I were talking to a dog, I say sit. Unfortunately, it's not a dog and even less so mine. Contrary to the result I had hoped for, his animosity increases explosively. I was in a sweet dream. Hoping to dominate something like this by willpower is too good to be true.

The beast takes a heavy step that resonates in this stone corridor. It releases a black and cold aura conveying its bloodthirst. The oppression and coercion contained in this wave of aura makes my blood run cold.

Faced with the animosity of the creature in front of me, a burst of fear invades me for a moment. I take a step back in my mind until I realize that in reality, I have just taken another step towards it. I still don't know where I'm going. Wrapped in a thick dark aura, the beast looks at me in silence. I manage to make out a glimmer.

"Is it ... Eyes?'' I wonder.

The creature takes another step towards me. The darkness emanating from the creature spills onto the ground around it and gives the impression of contaminating the rock. Each of his slow and heavy steps fractures the thousand-year-old rock. The creature accelerates abruptly as if it had decided to finish it in an instant. I also rush towards it. However, instead of trying to attack it, I jump towards the wall on the left and then the wall on the right before landing behind it. I intend to run away as quickly as possible.

I rush at full speed down the corridor. As I think I'm moving away, the baleful aura I feel behind me quickly makes me regret my choice. I glance behind me while maintaining my pace and what I see does not bode well. Turning my back on this beast was a sign of weakness, a way of acknowledging that I was giving up the fight. At that moment, I became mere prey waiting to be slaughtered.

"I'm about to be engulfed by this darkness. I have to do something immediately." I tell myself, feeling my last moments fast approaching.

I leap forward and turn around in the air to face the beast of darkness, just in time to dodge it. However, it was not a total success.

"It grazed me. Just this brief contact and I feel like my soul has just been dragged into the darkness."

I think I lose my mind for a fraction of a second that seems infinitely long to me. An even more icy dread brings me back to myself. Something even darker emits a wave of oppressive aura in the distance.

An unbeatable beast in front of me and another even more frightening one in the distance, not to mention Énama and his men waiting for me on the surface. A real blockade with no way out. Right now, I'm really on the verge of giving up.

"What's the point of resisting, in any case nothing good awaits me on the surface." I say to myself sinking more and more into despair.

A burst of anger rises in me when I remember the person who caused this situation.

"I can't die here. Enama, you have to pay." I scream, letting the fear in me escape with these words.

At the same time, another wave of oppressive aura coming from the same direction as the previous one sweep through us. The beast in front of me takes a step back and then it evaporates.

''It just evaporated?'' I ask myself as I look around me.

Is it because of my anger or my conviction or rather this oppressive and coercive aura? The second hypothesis seems more plausible than the first.
