Chapter 47 : Final Clash

''It's true that it's coming a little late but none of this came with instructions.'' Said Bindzi. ''What am I going to call you now? Your attributes are fire and lightning and you are as fierce as a panther. Zayang? No, it's too simple. Let's say Ze Eyong or rather Zeyon. Zeyon. Zeyon Ze-...''

Each call creates increasingly violent pulsations. The bars which can no longer contain all this power begin to crack and then disintegrate. The lightning and flames they contain spread into the surrounding space then contract again as if recalled by their master. When the last flame disappears in Zeyon, he opens his eyes. He extends one leg, then the second, and slowly lands.

''Merging so deeply made me lose my identity. Your ego is too powerful and your will to dominate is too weak to take control of my abilities. In fact, I, whose personality was not yet cemented because I had just seen the light of day, got lost.'' Comments Zeyon. ''It's time to end this farce.''

Essissima Mvé, who intends to continue his attack, changes his mind when he sees an electric discharge coming down from the sky towards Bindzi. Only then does he realize that the sky is on fire and it is raining lightning.

Essissima Mvé understood what was happening and decided to take advantage of it to defeat Bindzi while he was in this weakened state. He didn't imagine that in such a short time, he would discover the solution to his problem. It was really unfair, he said to himself, but then again, the world has never been fair. He himself used force, thus creating even more injustice in the world. Also experiencing this injustice at one time was just the normal course of things.

Bindzi looks up to the sky and understands that he is the origin of these disturbances which are spreading more and more and threatening to get closer to the city.

''That's dangerous! If I don't do anything the city will end in ashes.'' Bindzi said to himself.

He tries to contain these disturbances which proves very difficult.

''It's quite difficult to contain all this power. So, I'm going to finish it as quickly as possible.'' Bindzi said in a solemn tone. ''Don't curse me after you die.''

This statement is followed by the same previous attack. This powerful deluge of flames and lightning in the direction of Essissima Mvé who does not give in and emits a combined breath of fire, wind and darkness. He can control the breath of the Ngan-Medza to perfection. His breath is even more powerful than that of his beast. However, he did not have the best hand during this round and his opponent had finally decided to eradicate him from this world and he had the means.

The two attacks are about to hit each other when a voice is heard.

''Even the sun bows before me for I am Sun, Sun Eater.'' Says a man who comes out of nowhere and puts himself between the two attacks.

The new character extends one hand towards the combined breath of Essissima Mvé and the other towards the electric flames of Bindzi. The two attacks spit at him and are swallowed up by Sun.

''What are you trying to do young man?'' Sun comments. ''That was really dangerous.''

Bindzi, who has just witnessed the failure of his attack, is much more than irritated. He planned to end this fight once and for all but something totally unexpected had just happened. Someone clearly strong had just saved Essissima Mvé. Was this the ally he had spoken of moments before? As if that wasn't enough, the new character is the talkative and arrogant type.

''This is why it is not recommended to leave a weapon in the hands of a child. He's always going to use it the bad wa...''

''SILENCE!!! Silence!!! Silence!!! Silence!!! Silence!!!'' Bindzi's charged voice resonates in the air and vibrates the ground.

Sun Eater who was speaking finds himself unable to say a single word but this is not limited to him. For a brief moment, the whole world lost its voice. It wasn't just humans, animals or beasts. For a brief moment the entire planet had lost the ability to make any noise.

Ama, who was receiving treatment, understood what had just happened and it did not reassure her at all. She wasn't the only one. His father Onambele had felt it, the parents of Ella and Bella as well as several figures across the globe. Far away in another plane when the planet had been silenced pairs of eyes opened.

''Now you've done it.'' Said Sun Eater who looked disappointed. ''Not being a celestial master, you could have gotten away with some community service and more docile behavior but now, they won't let you go.''

Bindzi understands the seriousness of his act after the fact. He had just imposed silence on the whole world. He himself would not like to leave a person with such power hanging around.

''By them, you mean...'' Try asking Bindzi who has calmed down after his blunder.

''Essissima Mvé, you have done enough harm. The only reason you're still alive is because the city was behind you. There was a good chance of it getting razed at the same time as you. However, your judgment has passed and you will be removed from this world.'' Said Sun Eater like a judge announcing a sentence.

At the same time, three middle-aged men sitting under a very large tree unlike any tree that exists on earth raise their hands in unison.

''Containment'' Said one of the three men.

''You will spend the rest of your eternal life all alone in total darkness. Unable to perceive anything other than your own consciousness. The same goes for this beast that you have corrupted.'' Said another of the three men announcing the immutable judgment of Essissima Mvé.

''As for you, we'll give you a chance to find your way. You have one minute to say goodbye to this world.'' Adds the third.

The voice that resonates from another plane reaches the three men like a heavenly message which they can only obey. Essissima Mvé who received the heaviest sentence immediately disappears without a trace. He who knows the secrets of this world understood that there was no point in resisting.

''My name is Okala Mebougane, known as Sun Eater. I'm just the messenger. You got yourself into trouble. I hope you come out of this. Any last wishes?'' Okala asks as if it were the most normal thing to do.

Feeling that he is facing forces that he cannot oppose and understanding that Okala is anything but an enemy, he is rather grateful because without his intervention he would have unwittingly become a mass murderer but, his anger had the best of him and he must pay the price. He has no choice but to resign himself because no one asks him for his agreement.

''Tell Ama that I love her and that I hope she take care of my parents while I am gone and not try to find me.'' Said Bindzi.

''I wouldn't bet on a quick return but your message will be faithfully transmitted...'' Okala said.

Bindzi suddenly disappears while Sun Eater is still talking to him.

''I had more to say but the deadline has passed. They took him away without warning. Still so ruthless. I guess it's necessary to keep the planes in balance. Now I'm exhausted. Just one attack from that kid knocked me out. I still have room for improvement. I'm going to rest a little and transmit this message when I have regained my strength.'' Said Sun Eater who found himself all alone in this field of ruins.

Without wasting time, Okala looks for a green spot in the shade where he can rest. How carefree could he be? All these disturbances were bound to attract the authorities.
