Chapter 22 : A Day Off

You can hear the clash of metal in the distance. The shaking ground testifies to the violence of the blows. The surrounding air vibrates vigorously because of the impacts of the repetitive blows that the young Bizimana and Bindzi exchange. This would have been the case if these two young men were not training in a room designed by Ama. This room has the sole purpose of allowing its user to make full use of his authority without worrying about the consequences. The materials with which the floor, ceiling and walls were built have a special property.

By absorbing Ama's energy, the walls and floor partially detach from their physical location, creating a corridor between the training room and deep space. In fact, the floor, walls and ceiling can absorb energy in any form. Whether it is fire, vibrations, physical attacks such as impacts, slashes or piercing, in contact with the walls, the attack is converted into energy and a small part of the energy is stored for the operation of the infrastructure of the house by the lake. Most of it is redirected to deep space.

We can easily imagine that the room is indestructible but this is far from being the case. The performance of the room is directly related to Ama's authority and the amount of energy she injects into the walls. Once the energy exceeds the capacity of the walls added to the energy transfer rate, they begin to take damage.

"Bindzi, you've been training with Azombo and me for a while. Rest today and try to connect with your authority and feel the energy flowing through you. It will allow you to strengthen your physical abilities." Ékobo said.

"Is that true? I could block blows with my bare hands and move as fast as you do just by using my abilities? Bindzi asks.

''Haha ha. Don't be silly. Not only am I Prince Bizimana, but I am also a genius. Having abilities similar to mine is just impossible for a simple master like you." Says Ékobo, who inherited his father's eccentric character.

"He says it with such naturalness. It seems like he really believes it. And then what's this prince thing?" Bindzi wonders. "He's definitely Ama's brother."

"Always telling things that don't make sense," Bindzi said. "You are really special in your family."

"What do you mean by that?" Ékobo asks.

"Nothing... For now, I'm going to take your advice and rest." Bindzi said.

"Azombo, if I remember correctly, Ama and we have to go to the castle when she returns. Go get us some clothes and take the opportunity to restock the house." Ékobo said.

"Yes my prince... I took the liberty of preparing the indoor pool. Use it to eliminate fatigue from training." Azombo said.

"Thank you for the training and the advice." Bindzi said gratefully.

"I'm just doing my job. You are the princess's special guest. Besides, I just can't stand to see someone use a potential like yours so badly. Your body is well trained, your reflexes are good but you rely too much on your instincts. It's not bad in some situations, but it's better to have control over your every move. That pair of scythes you got there; I've never seen anything like it. When you have mastered it, you will become very strong." Said Azombo.

"I'm going to continue on this path." Bindzi said.

"I have to do it if I want to save my parents." Bindzi said to himself with conviction.

"Good." Azombo said.

Azombo returns to town to take care of the shopping. The nearest town is several hundred kilometers from this lakeside house, which makes these runs particularly long.

"I'm going to take a shower and test the effectiveness of this indoor pool." Bindzi thought to himself.

Bindzi begins to perceive more and more the connection between him and the blades.
