I had given Lia the location to where her surprise awaits. In a couple minutes we were at the restaurant (seeing now that she had realised that it was a restaurant).

"Zidane why yuh neva tell mi seh yuh did a bring mi a wah restaurant so mi could a wear sumn nice,"she said miserably.

"So who tell yuh seh weh yuh have on no look nice,"i said getting out of the car almost forgetting that I should act injured.

"Come weh we go inside... e place look nice already,"she said and I followed behind her.

We went inside and got our table that I had set a reservation for.

"Weh yuh wah fi eat?"i asked as she looked at the menu.

"Mi no know weh mi feel fi eat right now," she said still looking at the menu.

I signalled for the waitress and told her to bring the best dishes she had on the menu and Lia looked at me with a frown.

"Weh yah do?"she asked.

"Is that all Mr. Baker?"she asked and I nodded.

This was also brought to Lia's attention.

"Maybe all a the sumn weh she seh nah fi be lie,"she said after the waitress left and I sighed.

We had a little conversation while we ate and then halfway through our convo was interrupted.

A lady dressed liked a business woman approached us and greeted me,obviously making Lia upset.

No matter how much mi reassure har seh a she alone me want she always feel insecure when mi talk to wah next female.

"Zidane...I can't believe we meet again,"said the lady.

"Do I know you?"i asked.

"You fricking forgot me...its Nia from primary school, "she said smiling.

I looked at her face again and there was actually a resemblance of my primary school best friend/potential girlfriend.

I haven't seen her in years since she migrated to England after graduating primary school.
