I woke up feeling soo tired and mi deven coulda go back go sleep cause e bed did get too hot. I got up and headed to the bathroom e sound like nobody nuh wake yet.

Mi den have in mi earbuds inna mi ears a listen mi music, wid e towel wrap roun mi a go inna di kitchen fi go mek likkle breakfast fi mi and mi hungry gut people dem when mi almost collide inna wah girl.

"Oh sorry...sorry, "she said apologetically and i looked up realising that it was the girl that was with Jay.

I gulped.

"That alright man....mi shoulda look weh mi a go,"i said smiling.

"You must be Kayla...Jay told me about you," she said before i could walk off.

"Really things like wah?"i asked.

"Well.....he said you like him but he's not sure if he really wants to move to that level with you....he was pretty jealous when you started talking to the other guy tho....he says your one of those girls that-"she said but she was cut off by Jay.

"Jayan ....look how long mi a wait pon yuh!" he said in a feisty tone.

"I was just talking to Kayla...jesus,"she said rolling her eyes.

"Maybe some other time we talk," she said to me and i nodded as she walked off.

I stood there for a second wondering what Jayan was going to say before Jay interrupted and then walked off.

"Morning," Lia said yawning as she sat around the table.

"Morning,"i replied as i passed a plate to her. 

It had fritters, egg, franks and bacon and mi put likkle mayo pon e side specially fi har cause dis gurl wah mayo pon everything all e donut she did wah put e pon yesterday.

"Thanks," she said and she began eating.

"All now yuh no show mi weh yuh go wear eno,"she said.

"Ohhhh....mi figot fi sen yuh e picho...mi go look fi it afta mi dun dis,"i said as i scrambled the eggs.

"A wah this uh inna in front a everybody,"i heard Skeng say coming up behind me.

"Yuh no see me a do sumn,"i said hissing my teeth mostly annoyed because him frighten mi.

"Mi we look bout dis while yuh go change," he said pushing me aside and taking the fork.

I rolled my eyes at him and then walked off catching a glimpse of Lia giggling.

I took off my towel and put on a shorts and a t-shirt, then mi go inna mi draw fi find e bikini so mi coulda show Lia.

Afta dat mi go back inna di kitchen and Skeng did finish everything already so we just go siddung and start eat...soon afta Ziddy come join.

"Jay nuh wake yet?" he asked.

As soon as he said that he came in the kitchen with a plain look on his face.

"Morning," he said walking straight pass the table not even looking at anyone.

"Yuh look mash up inna e morning yah tho,"Lia said and he scoffed barely but smiling.
