Cayden moves into the dormitory, sitting down on his bed, already in his pajamas as he looks at Cedric's bed where the teen is brushing his head with a towel.

"Where have you been?" Cedric asked, throwing the towel somewhere and sat down on his bed, turning his head to look at Cayden.

"Meeting with Draco." Cayden said, as Cedric furrowed his eyebrows. "Draco's father said the Chamber of Secrets hasn't been open for fifty years."

"Does he know who opened it?" Cedric asked, moving so he could lean back against the headboard with his legs stretched out on the bed.

Cayden shakes his head. "Lucius' won't tell." He said. "And he also said that the last time the Chamber of Secrets was opened, a Muggle-born died."

Cedric furrowed his eyebrows in concern, sighing. "There's nothing we can do, Cayden."

Cayden nods, thinking back to Harry's letter to him in first year, sighing. "Yeah, you're right." He said, moving so he could lay down on his bed. "Good night, Cedric." He said, pulling the blanket up to his chest, sighing out a breath.

"Good night, Cayden." Cedric said, moving to lay down on his bed and pulling up the blanket to his chest. He takes hold of his wand and waves it, removing the light from the dormitory as they slept peacefully while Harry and Ron are drinking Polyjuice potion to become Crabbe and Goyle.

Cayden looks up when the door to the hospital wing is opened, and Harry, Ron and Professor McGonagall enter the hospital wing.

"Hermione!" Ron exclaimed, moving to stand next to Cedric who is standing behind Cayden.

"She was found near the library. Along with this. Does it mean anything to either of you?" Professor McGonagall asked, holding up a small circular mirror.

A mirror?

And Cayden and Harry have been hearing voices throughout the castle in some days. And every time that happens, a student is always petrified. He wonders what it is. Is it a snake? Then again, how is a snake traveling through the castle without being seen. He was pulled from his thought when he felt Cedric's hand on his shoulder.

"Where are you two going?" Cedric asked, falling in step with Harry and Ron as they followed them.

"Professor Lockhart's office." Ron answered.

"Did something happen?" Cayden asked.

"Ginny's got taken by the basilisk." Harry answered this time, seeing the door to the Professor's office two doors away.

"It was the basilisk we heard then?" Cayden questioned, watching as Harry nodded.

Cedric moves forward and opens the door into the office, letting Cayden, Harry and Ron in before entering himself.

"Professor, we've got some information for you--" Harry cut his words short when he sees Lockhart packing his trunks. There are two large trunks standing open.

"Are you going somewhere?" Cedric asked, crossing his arms over his chest as he narrowed his eyes on Lockhart.

"Um, well, yes. Urgent call. Unavoidable. Got to go..." Lockhart lies badly through his teeth.
