Cayden opens his eyes, confusion filling his face as he looks around at the people walking around what seems to be a town. There are houses, a fountain, a park, cars, roads and sidewalks on either side of the road. He looked down at himself, seeing that he was wearing his Hogwarts clothes without the robe, the Hufflepuff tie around his neck is a bright yellow to the white town.

He looks up and starts walking on the sidewalk, looking around at the unfamiliar faces around him. He wonders where he is... Not "where" he is, he knows he's dead by saving Sirius from death itself.

He stopped when he saw a house with the name "Potter" on the mailbox, looking at it with confusion. He looks around, the people are walking around him, not minding that he has stopped so suddenly.

He decided to start walking towards the house, stopping in front of the door and looks up at the house from his perspective. He looks at the door, where two golden baby head carving is rested in the middle of the door. One is wearing glasses and the other is not.

The door is suddenly opened and a familiar woman with bright red hair and glinting green eyes looks at him with a shocked expression. "Cayden...?" She said, taking her hand off of the door to stand in front of her son.

"Mum..." Cayden lets out, looking at his mother, who is suddenly looking at him with saddened eyes.

"Oh, sweetheart... what did you do?" Lily said, wrapping her arms around Cayden, bringing him close to her body as she took this in. Her son is dead... her sixteen year old son is dead...

"I had to." Cayden said, pulling away to look up at her. "I couldn't let Sirius die."

Lily looks down at her son with sympathy, brushing her finger down her son's temple, looking into the blue eyes that she had only seen years ago. "My little hero..." She said softly, smiling, pecking his forehead. She wrapped her arm around her son's shoulders and lead him inside the house, showing the interior that is inside the home.

"What is this place?" Cayden asked, looking up at her who softly smiled down at him.

"Home..." Lily answered, turning her head to the bedroom door when it opened and her husband came out, smiling at her when he saw her, but his smile fades when he sees who is with her.

"Cayden?" James said, looking at Cayden with the same expression she had when she saw him. He looks at Lily, noticing the sad smile on her face as she looks down at Cayden.

Cayden waves at his father nervously, not knowing what to say from meeting his father. Should he be shocked, sad, happy? All of them at the same time?

James moves forward and wraps his arms around his son, tightly hugging him. He let Cayden pulls away first, looking down at him who is looking at him with calculating eyes.

"What is this place?" Cayden asked, looking at his parents.

"Afterlife." James answered, leading Cayden to the couch and sat him down. He sat down beside Cayden, his wife sitting on the other side of Cayden. "It's where you go when you die." He said, turning his body to look at his son.

"Time moves differently here." Lily said, leaning back on the couch.

"It does?" Cayden asked.

Lily nods, smiling softly. She leaned forward, placing her hand on top of Cayden's hand. "You should go back, dear." She said, looking at the confused expression on Cayden's face. "You still have so much to live for."

"I can go back?" Cayden questioned.

"Of course." James said, smiling.

"But what about this." Cayden said, pulling up his left sleeve up, showing the Dark Mark to his parents. "He will be able to know where I am." He said, looking up at his parents.

Lily smiles and places her palm on top of the Dark Mark. Cayden watches as a bright white light shines from under her palm and when she picks her palm up, the Dark Mark is no longer there.

There's not even a scar to show that it has been there in the first place.

"Where do I need to go?" Cayden asked, looking up from his arm. "And where will I wake up?"

"The last place you took your last breath at." James said, standing up, taking Cayden and his wife with him as they began walking out of the Potter's home.

They walked for a while, Cayden telling them everything they had missed while in the afterlife. Cayden stopped talking when he saw the door in front of him, except this time it is brown rather than white like all of the other houses.

Cayden starts walking towards the door but stops, turning around to look at his parents who smile at him.

"Farewell, son." James said, nodding.

"Be safe, we love you." Lily said, smiling softly. "And tell Harry we love him, will you?"

Cayden nods, turning around and starts walking towards the door. He wrapped his hand around the knob and turned it, the door opened and Cayden walked forward, closing his eyes when a bright light landed into his eyes.

And when he opened his eyes, he looked around at the place where he was last seen. He starts walking towards the door without hesitation and quietly opens it, peeking his head out in the empty room and starts walking out of the Ministry.

He apparate himself to Severus' house, not the one he had grown in. It's the one Severus told him to stay at to keep out of Voldemort. Talking about Voldemort, he looks down at his left sleeve, pulling up the sleeve and a small smile appears on his lips when he sees nothing there.

He enters the house, looking around at the dusty house even though he had only been gone for a short time. He starts making his way towards the bedroom, not stopping as he continues walking into the bathroom and shower.

He walks out after forty-five minutes pass, a towel wrapped around his waist as he walks towards the closet, taking the pajamas out of the closet and starts slipping it on.

He walks towards the bed, laying down on his back as he looks up at the ceiling, sighing. He will go back to Hogwarts tomorrow, right now he is too tired to travel. But before he sleeps, he should warn Professor Dumbledore that he is alive so the students won't be surprised by his appearance.

The next morning when he is getting ready for Hogwarts, an owl knocks on the window, and when Cayden opens the window and takes the letter from the owl. Professor Dumbledore had told the students about his presence today, and some of them are excited to see him again making him smile at that.
