Cayden sits in between Cedric and Viktor at the Hufflepuff's table, heads turned towards Umbridge.

Umbridge stands up from the staff table, holding a parchment. "By Order of the Ministry of Magic: Dolores Jane Umbridge will replace Albus Dumbledore as Head of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." She looks over them all smugly. "My first act as your new Headmistress is to form an Inquisitional Squad, lead by Draco Malfoy. They will report directly to me about the goings on in the halls of this school."

"Furthermore, our good caretaker, Mr. Filch has requested we reinstate the old punishments. I have decided that there is no reason we shouldn't." Umbridge said.

Mr. Filch stands at the back of the Hall, grinning like a kid at Christmas.

Viktor looks at Cayden, noticing that his sleeves is rolled up, revealing the Dark Mark to everyone in the Hall who keeps staring at Cayden like he's some kind of monster. Well, some of them are staring at him. Some of them are staring at Cayden with sympathy.

Viktor breaks out of his thoughts when a hand is placed on top of his, looking at Cayden who gives him a small smile, of which he returns.

"What were you thinking about?" Cayden asked, gaining Cedric's attention from his voice.

"They keep staring at you." Viktor said, voicing out his concerns for his boyfriend. "I don't like it." He said, sighing.

Cayden smiles, leaning up to kiss Viktor at the edge of his lips making the Bulgarian smile at the contact. "Me too." He said, looking at Cedric who smiles down at him. He places his hand on top of Cedric as well, smiling at them both. "It'll all be over soon." He said, glancing at Harry when his boyfriends was not looking at him. It'll all be over soon... closer than he thinks.

Cayden enters Professor McGonagall's office. She sits behind her desk. Umbridge sits in the corner with a notepad.

"Please sit, Potter." Professor McGonagall said.

Cayden sits on the chair, making himself comfortable by leaning back.

"You're here to have a talk with me about your career thoughts, Potter. We do this so we can begin to aim your courses over the next two years to prepare you for that career." Professor McGonagall said.

Cayden nods. "I'm thinking of being an Auror"

"Auror Interesting, Potter. You'll need top grades for that. Challenging career path, but not unrewarding." Professor McGonagall said, smiling internally at the thought of both Potters working side by side together.

"Hem hem." Umbridge said, but both Cayden and Professor McGonagall ignored her.

"Now then, Potter, you'll need to concentrate on Defense Against the Dark Arts, Potions, Transfiguration, and Charms to adequately prepare yourself for the general Auror requirements." Professor McGonagall said, repeating the words she had said to Harry to Cayden.

"Hem hem." Umbridge said again, and Cayden had to roll his eyes at that.

"May I offer you a cough drop, Professor Umbridge?" Professor McGonagall asked, holding back a smile from Cayden's action.

"Oh, no thank you, Minerva. Actually, I was just wondering if Potter has the proper temperament to be an Auror." Umbridge said.

"Were you indeed." Professor McGonagall said, turning back to Cayden. "If you're serious in this ambition, Potter, I would recommend concentrating on bringing your Potions and Charms grades up more before your O.W.L.s. I daresay you've got enough time if you apply yourself. Lord knows you've consistently done well in Defense Against the Dark Arts. Professor Lupin--"
