The river flows quietly, thick and muddy from the previous night's rain. The locket feels heavy around Cayden's neck, it's silent inside his mind. There's nothing to take over his mind, nothing to get him angry and snap at someone for speaking to him.

Cayden turns around and joins Harry and Hermione, hands inside his jacket pockets. He nods to Hermione and Disapparate, pitched into a whirlwind of darkness.

Cayden was the first to reappear on a windswept hillside, taking out his wand and instantly cast the enchantments needed to protect them.

He walks the perimeter of the camp, looking up every so often to look at the illuminated tent. He watches Harry and Hermione's shadows pass within, sliding over the canvas.

Seconds later, the radio crackles to life. He starts to move off again, ignoring the song playing in the tent.

Cayden is writing in his diary outside the tent, the said diary placed on his lap. He takes no notice of himself writing on the paper beside his writing.

Hermione is beside him, wrapped in a blanket by a wind-whilled fire, going back and forth between Tales of Beedle the Bard and another book, Spellman's Syllabary.

"Guys." Harry said, slipping through the tent flap, handing Hermione the Snitch. "You were right. It's like you said. Snitches have flesh memories. But I didn't catch my first Snitch with my hand. I almost swallowed it."

Hermione watches the words vanish on orb. "I open at the close?"

"What do you reckon it means?" Harry questioned, glancing at Cayden who is wearing the locket around his neck, unaffected.

"I don't know. But look, I've found something as well..." Hermione said, turning The Tales of Beedle the Bard into the flickering light, points to the top of the title page, to a small drawing of a triangular eye. "I thought it was a picture of an eye, but now I don't think it is. It isn't a rune and it's not in Spellman's Syllabary either. And it's been inked in-- somebody drew it-- it isn't part of the book."

Cayden looks up, looking at the drawing of the triangular eye, recognizing it. "Luna's dad was wearing that at Bill and Fleur's wedding." He said, Harry nodding beside him.

"What d'you mean -- wearing it?" Hermione questioned.

"Around his neck. Like an amulet. I didn't think much of it at the time. You know Luna -- she's always got some mad thing or the other she's carrying around. I just figured it ran in the family." Harry said.

"Why would someone have drawn it in a children's book?" Hermione questioned, shaking her head.

Harry eyes her. "Hermione, I've been thinking. I -- I want to go to Godric's Hollow. It's where we were born, it's where our parents died--"

"And it's exactly where You-Know-Who will expect you both to go. Because it means something to you." Hermione said.

"But it means someing to him too, Hermione. You-Know-Who nearly died there. Wouldn't that be just the kind of place he'd hide a Horcrux?" Harry asked.

Hermione eyes him. Despite herself, she knows he's right. "It's dangerous, Harry. But I have to admit, recently even I've been thinking we might have to go. I think it's possible something else is hidden there." Off Harry's look. "The sword. If Dumbledore didn't want it falling into the Ministry's hands, but wanted you both to find it, what better place to hide it than the birthplace of the founder of Gryffindor himself?"
